I'd love to give it away man, sorry, but my wife would kill me. The website says it retails for $69.99 but I bought it for $54.95. I will trade for it anything. Supplements, visors, sunglasses, pedal cages, etc. Just something so I didn't waste $50+. I'll listen to any fair offer. The singlet is brand new.

FYI - it is a Ajelan XL tri singlet as seen in this website / http://www.thetriathletestore.com/detail.aspx?ID=2034

The guy on the top right is wearing the same one I have (white)

This thread is really for just giving away items.  Some individuals ask for compensation for shipping, but often not.  This really isn't a thread to sell something.  If you want to sell or trade your shirt you should post it in the general classifieds.

Again, no harm done, just letting you know the general purpose of this thread.  This is why someone pm'd you and asked for it.

I am not the original poster of this thread, so if I am wrong someone is more then welcome to correct me.

Thanks!

That being said I have some very well used Speedplay Zero cleats- first person who wants them gets them.  I've also got a leg length discrepancy kit to go with them.

Just to clarify, these are NOT the PEDALS, they are the cleats only.

I have a womens TYR tri suit available.  It is a dark purple color with orange and pink stripes and a white mesh back.  I wore it for one race and its too short for me.  The inseam is 4" for the leg.  I am 5'9" and 145lbs, fit was good except the torso length was not right.  I am just too tall for this suit.  I paid $80 in late summer 2007.  Free to a good home if you will reimburse for shipping.

This item is to go to a needy Triathlete who does not have the means to purchase a HRM
Please only ask for it if you really need it
The watch is a Timex Ironman WR50M
The last time I used it was in February and the HRM messed up in a race going under power lines which is a common thing for non-coded HRM’s. I decided to upgrade and it has not been used since.
Currently the battery needs replacing in the watch (CR2025) instructions are in the manual provided.
It has been well used but has many years of use left.
PM me with your details and ill ship it out this week.

Timex HRM Strap - It goes with the 30 lap Timex Ironman HRM watch (which broke) but I still have the strap which works great.

It's Model 515 Water Resistant to 30m

Everyone who contributes to this thread kudos to you!!

I feel a little jaded about the process it was for me to give away a HRM and I have a bunch of stuff to give but am unsure if I will do it here again because of a few people who emailed me for the item.

I received several PM’s from people wanting the HRM. After thinking about it I wanted to see who best needed it as I did not go off the first email I received. Three people already had a HRM and when questioned about it had a reason for needing this one. Now I am not the sharpest tool in the workshop but can’t you only use one at a time?

This is a great opportunity for us to help others out but if a few people want to take advantage it will ruin it for everyone else.

Now that’s off my chest ……

HRM was sent today.

As someone who has both recieved and given things in this thread I can say that this idea is great and I would hate to think that people would take advantage of it. I hope that those that are thinking of giving will not become weary of giving by your experience. As a first year multi sport athelete I had to buy a lot of things this year and was able to receive a few things free here. I can tell you that I am deaply appreciative to those that give in this thread.

I encourage you not to be discouraged and to continue to help out fellow BT'ers by continuing this thread.

And a big thank you to all of you who have kept this thread alive in your unselfish giving.

Well, I just have to say that I LOVE Pay it Forward.  So if you are feeling jaded, just know that it has helped me (and I'm sure many others) immensely.  I received a pair of running shoes that I just wore in my first triathlon (thanks keyone!).  They were definitely needed and while I don't have much to pay it forward, I would like to give what I do have...

I have an XL womens' cycling jersey that just doesn't fit me quite right.  I've only tried it one a couple times...never worn on a ride. (I still have the tags).

To view the jersey, visit this link...

Please note that the color of this jersey is turquoise, not pink as pictured.

I too, have had the benefit of receiving some things on here that I have not had to buy. I'm still recovering from a rather chronic IT Band issue that has not allowed me to do much all summer and fall 2008. Despite my injury, I still was able to compete in two duathlons and one tri...if I can recover from my injury over the winter and spring I hope to continue competing and offering things on here to the next newbie coming through. Keep the spirit of giving alive...I'd like to believe that the large, large majority of people on here are good people who don't take advantage of things...if you want to pick and choose who you donate an item to, you should have the right to do that w/o anybody being upset...but you know that we can't control others.

I both received and given, and let me tell you, I LOVE my bike shorts I got from here.  LOVE.  and without this thread, I wouldn't have gotten new bike shorts.

I'll never forget the GPS that was give away here.  I sat there, no one had  claimed it, and it was listed like 2 seconds before I got on...and I thought, damn, I totally want that.  But I have one, got it for a birthday present, and the thought of taking this one made me so guilty feeling I knew I could never.

I would only hope others would do the same.

I would feel no offense if someone questioned my need for an item, I think that is a good thing- making sure it goes to who needs it most.  If you're asking for it, you should really need it.

my $.02

Still can't get over the generosity on this site, honest.  I really surprise me ( a HRM, clothing, parts and a GPS?????   WOW!!!)

I was lucky enough to pick up a Forerunner 201 (from originalkid).  I had been wanting to get a Forerunner but really couldn't afford one, so it pretty much made my entire month.  I use it ALL THE TIME and love it so much.  My wife hates it, which is always a good sign that it's getting a lot of use...

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that one of the big giveaways on here is being put to good use, and if I ever find that it's not, you know where to look to pick it up from me!

Not much, but I have two swimming caps (never used) that are really nice (silicone). They are made by View swimming products, one is black and the other is white.  I also have a pair of Zoggs goggles that have never been used.  If you need any of these or all of these let me know and I will get them out in the mail to you.

Thanks,

Jared

I have probably over 30 swim caps if you want one.  It won't be new, but it will be free.
