Ok, so I'm having a play day. I was on Yahoo Flickr photos and I couldn't believe they had pictures of my town of 4000 - Haubstadt, Indiana. So I will share with you my little town.

Believe it or not, I just turned down going for a brisk morning ride with my DH...I had just woke up, he was already dressed and the thought of going directly from my warm bed to the chilly low 40's weather...I wimped out....thats right WIMPED OUT! I am instead going to go for a morning swim...OUTDOORS...so, maybe I am not such a wimp...would like to ride to and from....but will have to see if it is going to cooperate and the rain will hold off til then. Then do some work this afternoon...what about you???? REST DAY...what is that...hehe  Good for you Pam...looks like you are still taking time for yourself in this hectic time for you...KIU girl...you are doing great!

With jan's challenge coming to an end and Feb's starting, I figured that Dee would be VERY busy.  I got in a short 30 min ride this morning before going to the circus with my 8y/o and my ex-wife.  Now, I'm getting ready to walk out the door and go with my wife to the lawyer to see what we can do about her ex.  Fun stuff---

Hope everyone has a great day!  I'm hoping for a long trainer ride tonight while watching the season premiere of Lost and a big make-up day tomorrow for my missed run today.

Now it is Friday? right? I hope for an afternoon run if my DH gets home from class early enough. If not I will hop on the treadmill.

Answer: Because Dee has some incredibly stupid moments, where her brain doesn't function. When this happens, she commits to things without thinking.

But no one else was organizing it, so....... *shrug*

I'm sort of back. I've been on BT all night, getting everything set for the Feb challenge.

All the PMs crashed my inbox. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing - since it stopped me from getting MORE PMs. LOL

Anyway, I think things are relatively under control. For the moment. LOL

123 people participating in the challenge so far.

I had to get rid of the top part though. LOL

I love your new avatar, btw! Very cool!

And yes - you should have another glass of wine for me. Or, better yet - squash it through the computer so I can drink some too! LOL

I'm not a wine guy but I could definitely go for a beer. It's been a crazy couple of days and I'm just finishing up about 21 hrs of work. Time to go home and sleep for about 3 hrs before the wife and I head to spin.  If all goes well, I'll get in an hr ride plus a 30 min run brick at the Y this morning.

How did everyone do on their January goals?  One of mine was to get back in the pool and get serious.  I ended up with 18,000 yds (goal of 16,000) so I'm happy.  I still have a long way to go to be happy with my swimming again, but it's a real start.

Have a great weekend!

Dee - so glad to see you back!!!! I hope you get to find some time with yourself soon, it misses you

Eric - Go get em on the spin class, does your wife do tri's also? Did you have any interesting runs, is that morbid to ask?

Pam - hope you have a wonderful class free weekend...

Amy - hope you and hubby have a night out alone, everyone that stays at home all week caring for the kids needs a adult night out.

Mike - glad to hear from you.

Emerson - Are you back from Cinnci yet, and how are you feeling? Take care of yourself you are soooooo busy all the time.

My dearest Julie - Are we on for the 10 miler today? It is supposed to warm up to 44 today and sunny, a bit windy, but I can handle that when I feel the sun on my face... I will probably go around 12:00 noon... Can we meet for coffee afterwards

HAPPY SATURDAY EVERYONE!!!!! Is anyone else having a super bowl party????? We are trying to have healthy snacks... we will see how that fares.
