Hi.

Congrats to the PR.

Congrats to the workouts.

Congrats to the alcohol consumption.

Congrats to setting up Team Vixen (or has everyone forgotten that in the light of sober?)

Congrats to me for not falling asleep while catching up.

K, think that about covers it. Ta!

OKay, I was teasing about the "Ta" part - I have lots of chattin' wit' myse'f to do. And, apparently, apostrophes to use up.

KOM, you are definitely behind in crappy points. I just got a mere 2220 because I didn't count half my weekend.

The NYC weekend sounds like a BLAST! If I get a new job (rolling my eyes) I might just be able to come down for it. Not holding my breath or anything, though. *sigh*

Actually, if I get a new job, the very first thing I'll put in for is a week-long Habitat build with my Dad in Feb. down on the Gulf Coast somewhere. It's his birthday present to himself! I want to go super super super super-duper bad, but can't afford the time off.

Hope everyone had an awesome weekend!

KOM - 2008-12-07 8:49 PM Hi Vixens!

Hey Kathy!  What did you do today?

Read the paper and balanced the check bookSurprised.  Also ran outside in the snow to get a few crappy points before lifting and swimming.  Do you think you'll come up for the swim clinic Kathy G mentioned.  I've heard lots of good things about the coach.  I'll probably try to go if it's not to far over my abilities.

I'd like to.  If I can get my kids taken care of, I'll be there.  It's almost too good to pass up!

Morning Vixens!  It's in the teens today.  Brrrrr!  Hope it warms up just a bit before my run this afternoon.  If not, I guess I'll be freezing the chi-chi's off anyway!

Slugger - 2008-12-08 4:13 AM Hello, hello, hello Reindeer!!! It's the moment you have all been waiting for, anxiously hitting repeat all weekend long, in tense anticipation of.... RESULTS: THE FIRST WEEK It was a short one, getting into the swing of things and getting used to that wonderful winter weather. Reindeer are happier when it is colder, right? With 16% of the month over, the standings are: 1st: Vixens at 16.93% 2nd: Dancers at 14.51% 3rd: Comets at 12.11% 4th: Blitzens (Blitzii?) at 11.67% Now some of you have noticed that a teammate may not have a goal stated. In fact, on three of our four teams, we have a slacker member lagging behind. While I've PMed them, if you happen to be chattin' 'em up, let them know that they are at 0% for the standings and dragging their team down. Oh, and congrats to the Blitzii, whose team is all on the ball in that regard. Get those workouts done, get them logged, and don't let your limiter this month stare you in the face for months to come!

I love winning!  Good job guys!

Is it wrong that I don't want to call the school?  I would like to talk to his teach first but she's out sick.  She called and said she was having some sort of allergic reaction and couldn't make our meeting.  I think she needs to HTFU!

NO!   That would be perfect!  Then again, I might never leave!  Two of my favorites in one place could be dangerous!

Oooh speaking of target, just found a pillow there that I want to base our bedroom around.  Has the same colors as our duvet and blankets (bonus).  Then I'm thinking accent wall in this deep metalic purple/eggplant color and the rest of the walls in this metalic silvery color.  Then have hubby make a head board and night stands and stain them DARK almost black and go with modern silver fixtures.  Duvet is a deep wine color and blankets are a champenge/sandy color.   Really kind of excited.  I LOVE painting color in rooms.

I don't know if its this town or what but all of our grocery stores and targets and meijers have starbucks in them. Does make having to go to the grocery store a little easier to take.

We watch Wanted this weekend.  The one with Morgan Freeman and Angolina Jolie.  It was OK.  The stunts were fun, kind of reminded my of the first Matrix.

Anyone care to share some or one of their favorite holiday traditions?

I don't know that we have anything in particular for christmas but for thanksgiving we always have a slice of pumkin pie for breakfast thanksgiving morning. Cuz you have to make sure that there is room for the most important part of the thanksgiving meal (dessert ).

No, not really.  I saw Twilight the other weekend.  It was okay, not near as good as the books but, what movie is?
