I'm thinking pasta with chicken. The asparagus here has been good lately, so I think I'll pick up a couple bunches of that as well.

I love fresh asparagus.

wow pasta and fresh asparagus sounds yummy! where did you say you live...and is it rude to invite myself over for dinner tonight? I will bring desert!!

I'm in San Diego (Chula Vista, to be more specific). When you posted on my newbie thread, I believe you said you had some ties down here - correct? Anyway, if you're ever in town, I'll cook!
awesome...be there tomorrow! haha

it was my daughter...

jaxbamf73 - 2009-10-01 7:06 AM Hello TEAM!  Just entered my goal miles for the challenge.....100 miles!  Feel free to stop by my blog and give me a little motivation from time to time as I'm sure I'll need it.  I've never done 100 miles in a month and have averaged about 35 miles for the last few months.  But I have a 70.3 this weekend and start the marathon training on Monday.....

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ON REACHING YOUR GOAL!

100 miles is a lofty goal coming from 35, especially with a 70.3 recovery worked in there.  Be safe and listen to your body.  Take rest if you need it.

Best of luck in reaching the goal!  Have a great race this weekend!

X 2 (or 3 or 4....haven't read the rest of the posts yet)

You could really hurt yourself by increasing your milage so dramatically.  The 10% rule really works well.

You're going to need some R and R after your HIM.

Thanks to everyone! I've been given some really good advice! 100 is a lofty goal, but  I'll definitely be listening to my body to make sure I don't damage  my poor little legs...

kcarroll - 2009-10-01 3:50 PM Dinner tonight.....gotta use up all the stuff I bought at last weekend's farmers market.  Brocolli, spinach, tomatoes and fresh mozzerala.  I always buy too much, but it looks sooooo good. Guess I'll throw some pasta in for good measure.

yummy! nothing better then the farmers market. I love helping our local growers and getting fresh fruits/veggies/eggs/fish/breads/pastries.

so what time is dinner?

kimk - 2009-10-01 5:45 AM As for music I listen to the I-pod most of the time.  I live in the city and use it to drown out the noise! If I am at the cabin and running the trails then no music just nature! It is my favorite place to run! Just wish it wasn't 4 hours away!

cabin.....sounds like many of us have cabins...any others?

time to do a cabin swap!

I don't have a cabin, but if any of you want to invite me to yours I wouldn't say no!

invitation is open! we have one in Texas and access to one in Tahoe...bet I know which one you will choose! haha

Depends...Where in Texas?
