Uric acid levels haven't been linked to gout attacks in the literature. Lots of people have crystals and normal uric acid levels. It isn't a sensitive indicator for gout.

I am sure there was an influx of young english men to northern snowy climates after that movie.

LOL. I know. How boring!

Just kidding. I haven't had much to say lately. I get like that sometimes. Don't tell my hubby, though. He thinks I ALWAYS have something to say.

My son is sitting next to me, playing on our other laptop. He is watching hot wheels videos on the internet. It's kinda like u-tube of just hot wheels tracks. Silly.

Who said you have to have something to say. In real life I'm not much of a talker, I can fill pages though here with my eyes closed.

You just post whatever pops into your mind.

Here's a question for you, Amy.

I have 2 kids. My son is 10, my daughter is 7. In my mind I was done Christmas shopping for the kids. Last night I asked them what the top 3 items were on their wishlists. I've asked before, but I wanted to be sure.

My daughter tells me her wishlist, ok, I've got her covered.

My son tells me his wishlist. I have nothing for him from his wishlist.

Do I buy one more thing for each of them, or do I just let it go because I know he is already getting some pretty cool gifts?

I need to go do a run today. I was hoping to get it in outdoors, but the heat wave we were having is on its way out. Cloudy, windy and high 30's here.  Plus the boy is out of school this week.
My coach has given me strict instructions to NO run onthe roads or sidewalks. I am not one to run on trails alone, even during the day. Late this sumer we had a string of assaults in daylight on lone females at several locationin the valley. Not worth the chance, IMO. I will have to head to the gym in a bit. The boy can go hang out in the kid's room(s). He'll get a workout in too. Thank heavens for Lifetime Fitness. I pay out the nose, but that place comes in handy sometimes.

That's tough. Does he still believe in Santa? And how easy is he to please? It depends on how disappointed he's going to be. If he's the type of kid that jst rolls with it, I'd say you're good. If not, you better get one more thing. Or Santa better, depending on the answer to my first question.

It seems like the older my boy gets, the more fickle he is. Which makes it difficult to know whether he'll have a happy Christmas morning or not...
