Was supposed to be doing the Pacific Crest Half Iron on Saturday. On Friday, while doing a practice swim, a dog was in the water, bit him 2x and scratched him. He wound up with 3 puncture wounds in his head and a huge gash on his face. He had to DNS. He is NOT happy, to say the least. |

Thanks for asking sweetheart No longer feeling sorry for myself. Some body parts/physical stuff today felt worse, some better. Still foggy in the head and nauseated. But I am very, very, very ANGRY. I think a fair amount of it is justified, especially since it's not easing up at all and it's based on some pretty nasty facts. Some of it is probably from irritability from the concussion and just not feeling very good--common symptom. Overall, much better, and I may, ahem uhm ah be looking forward to swimming with the hottest of piglets and the most breathtaking of manta rays tomorrow. Not 'swimming' really you know, just floating in the water. |
