The new OS, like any new OS, has lots of new bells and whistles. I enjoy the bells and whistles and like to keep my electronica up to date. But it's not a must. Just depends on if you want the new stuff and such. Me too... the bells and whistles and such... I only have a few apps and decent wifi at home. So I might give it go. I'm surprised it doesn't give me the choice to update. Maybe I have to physically plug it into my computer and sync with Itunes for it to ask? Like an Ipod? If you go to "Settings" and "SW Update" it should give you the option to upgrade and will do so over the network. |

In reading up on it, 6 solves one of my MAJOR peeves with Apple: Likewise, you can now add photos or videos to emails as you're composing them—not by starting with photos. This is something people naturally do on their desktops as they add photos or videos to emails. Do this by tapping anywhere on the screen in the body of the email to see the Select, Select All, Paste options appear. Then tap on the right arrow and select Insert Photo or Video |
