Got an early start in hopes of beating the heat index of 95-105.  Managed to crash enroute to adding another 31 miles.  Forecast aren't looking good for much more riding this week....really hot!   292/400. 73%.

49 today thankfully started at 7am when it was 71 but ended when it was 91.

Total for month 214.86 with 185.14 left. Tuesday I have 50-60 mile ride scheduled on another scorcher....gotta get up early again.

I did some rough math and it looks like I might hit 450 this month.

Alright, 63 miles with 2 weeks left. Lets see what I can do and still put the required efforts into the swim and run.

Another 49.98 miles today okay call it 50, up to 264, with another 55 miles on Sunday. Now to pack up everyone and drive to MN so I can do that ride there. Only 1700 miles of driving...while riding today I thought one of these summers I should ride my bike to MN....probably take more than 2 weeks.

Keep riding everyone!

My car thermometer said 97, the banks said 102, all I know is it was hot. I was a little concerned about the heat but decided to just throw it out there.

Stopped for a water break and sweat poured in my eyes, I could barely see to get going again. Felt much better to just keep moving.  Added another 32 miles.  324/400 - 81%.  There is light at the end of the tunnel

Think it may be time for a couple of days rest. The left hamstring is asking for a rest.  32 more in tonight.  356/400.  89%.  Planned rides for Saturday and Sunday should put me over the top.

Can I borrow some of your miles?
I don't think I can make it to 400 in the next 4 days... Leaving country on the 24th for 4 weeks
The first week of the month I was was hiking mountains, the last week I'll be gone, I barely had 2.5 weeks to get my 400 miles in. Now, feeling way overtrained and overworked with an "A" race coming up this Sunday, I think I am better off tapering and resting. I can ride my brother's mountain bike next week, but it'll be still hard to get up to 400.
I'll try my best though

How about a trade for some of your run miles , I have ignored running in order to get the bike miles in.  Good luck squeezing in those extra miles before heading out of the country.

Where did everybody go?  Didn't get to ride as much as I had hoped this weekend due to a rain induced ride cancellation on Saturday.  Mananged to get in 38 miles today. 394/400. 98%.

319! And a whoppin' 58 mile bike ride today, the longest I have EVER done. Much of it was in the rain which was fun, had the park all to myself!

only at 183 with a week left, and going out of town this coming weekend without the bike, so it's looking like i'll only get over 200, which actually is great for me.

though this challenge hasn't made me enjoy biking any more than i did on july 1st, it still made me put in more miles. i plan on working on longer rides with each coming week.

good news is that i will hit my swimming and running goals, and am all pumped up for my first oly in late august.

Reporting 266.57 miles.

I actually had my first bike wreck the other day, so I am happy that I am still moving.  I am fine, just a little road rash and a bruised hip.  No biggie.  Got my front tire stuck between some railroad tracks.  Stupid trains...what the heck do people still use trains for anyway?

I'm up to 280 for the month...but the rest of the week looks sketchy....I'm going to try to throw in a couple of two a days to see if I can get close.

247.54 down / 153 to go.  First flat tire and roadside tire change last week.  I've got a lot of work to do and only 1 week left to do it in.  Yikes!

I'm at 368 after a 46 mile ride yesterday and 56 the day before. I have 3 more rides scheduled....16, 16, and 65 so I should hit the magic 400 soon.

Riding now is difficult as we are staying on an island...with no roads. I need to coordinate with family to get a ride to the mainland, ride and then meet them up for a ride back...but I have managed to squeeze the riding in.

My mental mileage clock was screwed up when I posted yesterday.  I'm in slightly better shape than I thought.  292 and change down, 108 to go.

I'd still like to keep at it hard this week so I'm not having to do massively long rides this weekend.

I have to average about 60 miles a day to hit 400. I've lost big time. I however, wouldnn't have ridden this much otherwise so I'm not too upset.
