Don't forget to log your stuff on the team spreadsheet, esp. before the end of each week! We don't want to get the boot cuz we're not at 40% cuz people didn't log

Thanks for the reminder--I'd forgotten that part. I'm up-to-date now.

Kewl! I am sort of anal-retentive about those sorts of things. Checking off lists, filling in boxes, etc, gives me a weird satisfaction. Probably not so for normal people

I am weirdo too and love logging things! That is the only way I can motivate myself! Especially if someone else is going to look at it.

I had forgotten to log things...now I am up to date.  Thanks for the reminder.

I think, after 10 days of languishing, I'm finally on the healthy side again -- I'm wearing "real" clothes today, not sweats or jammies.  So onwards!  I'll have to do my core exercises today!!

Let's go Dancers!

Good for you!!

I went over my calories by 400 today! I freaked and had a cookie and a pop and a candy bar! I could blame it on some circumstances but I just like to eat!  I have no one to blame but myself.  I am in control of my own actions.

I considered doing another half hour on the bike to compensate but I already took two showers and had two training sessions.  Hmmmm....maybe I could log some "alternative cardio" later tonight to burn off those calories (I really don't want to make my training log x-rated though).

I felt so much better eating lighter too...Grrrrrr

Why do you think Marma and Ron added "body surfing"?

wurkit, you and I simply MUST meet! If I make it to DC for New Year's I am totally looking you up (and not in a creepy stalker sort of way). I am SUCH a logging/Excel/database freak. Indeed, a friend considered getting me this for Christmas: http://www.signals.com/signals/Item_I-Heart-Spreadsheets-T-Shirt_HG...

Good job encouraging everyone to log - don't forget that the first week ends TODAY! Make sure you are all up to date so the standings show how awesome you are!

Hehe. I love making lists - for everything.

Never fear, teammates, I will be logging another trainer session tonight

Do I get 1/2 a credit for the day if I log and post but go over in my calories??? I figure it is better than going hog wild and eat with reckless abandon without adding up the damage!

I didn't add the "body surfing" to my list...don't know if it burned 400 calories! I should of just made my butt get back on the trainer for another half hour!  I looked up "yoga" and it didn't burn enough in an hour!

Great job! Luckily, the holiday treats have not started to pour into my office, so that helps!

I got in my PT this morning.  My therapist says I'm doing better and getting stronger, so she made it harder.

My workouts are all logged in the spreadsheet.

You are doing great!

I should of made my goal 20 instead of 25 days!

I have six holiday functions that I accounted for but I did not account for messing up any normal days!

Hi Team - sorry I have been MIA but had a crazy week.  Dad hospitalized for 3 days due to irregular heart beat (that had to get shocked back to normal).  He's out now and doing much better.

I'm doing great on my food logging and staying within my ww points.  I actually started last Saturday and have not messed up yet.  I have even lost about 3 1/2 lbs.  Amazing how if you eat right and workout as much as I have been that the lbs just melt off.  I'd like to drop another 5 lbs but am not sure I can stay there.  I'm going to try cause it would be so cool to lose in December instead of gain, but if I maintain I'll be thrilled.

Everyone keep up the good work!

Friday evening was not so good. I didn't eat lunch--I think that was the problem. so I pigged out after dinner. Today is going better!

Lisa, I'm glad your dad is doing better. That must've been scary. Great going on the weightloss!

Sandi, good for you with the free weights. I keep trying to motivate myself...maybe next challenge!

Bronwyn,  I feel for you. The days so far I haven't done well, there's been nothing big going on. I just felt like eating after dinner! Getting my 20 days is going to be a struggle. Good luck to both of us!

Jen, glad your therapist says you're doing well!

Chrissy, have a good spin!

Bronwyn, isn't your goal just logging? If so, put it on the spreadsheet, even if you went over! Heck, I didn't even log ALL of my food on Saturday and I was at something like "Gain 2.3 lbs." YIKES!

Hello, hello, hello Reindeer!!!

It's the moment you have all been waiting for, anxiously hitting repeat all weekend long, in tense anticipation of....

RESULTS: THE FIRST WEEK
It was a short one, getting into the swing of things and getting used to that wonderful winter weather. Reindeer are happier when it is colder, right? With 16% of the month over, the standings are:
1st: Vixens at 16.93%
2nd: Dancers at 14.51%
3rd: Comets at 12.11%
4th: Blitzens (Blitzii?) at 11.67%

Now some of you have noticed that a teammate may not have a goal stated. In fact, on three of our four teams, we have a slacker member lagging behind. While I've PMed them, if you happen to be chattin' 'em up, let them know that they are at 0% for the standings and dragging their team down. Oh, and congrats to the Blitzii, whose team is all on the ball in that regard.

Get those workouts done, get them logged, and don't let your limiter this month stare you in the face for months to come!

I used one of my fast food days. Surprised

This challenge is helping. I would have used all of them by now. I debated long and hard about it before I used it. But in the end, I did. Taco Bell. I don't regret it, I just am very aware of how few of them I have left.

That's a good thing.

It seem as though we have one team member who has not even given a projected goal - I assume he/she will not be participating. Is that person counting against us? I know in the past we've been able to drop people who simply never "showed up".

We also have someone who hasn't really posted anything in their log, so I'm not sure how that will work.
