Any tips on how to set this up best in the Garmin Swim? Or should I wear one watch timed for 1:20 (1:40) and the pause the Swim as needed?
You can learn to abstractly use the pace clock...I find analog easier, but for exampleif your send of is 1 minute, that's easy, right? You go "at the top", when the second hand points up or the digital clock reads 00
If your send off is 1:30, then it's going to alternate "at the top" with "at the bottom" with each repeat. Ie first one go at the top (00 ), next one go at the bottom (30 ), next one at the top, etc.
If your send off is some other number like 1:40, then every repeat you just watch for the second hand to 'march backwards', or the digital clock to descend...first repeat leave on 00, next repeat leave on 40, next one leave on 20, next one you'r eback to 00.
That doesn't answer your question, but looking for the "space" on the clock on which you'll leave can be a fun way to zone out and swim a little and leave numbers and beeps from your digital watch set aside for abit. |
