I think I'm sold on the springfields!  They got the cool factor I'm looking for and with all the good reviews here on BT.  Nice price point as well.

They block gun web sites at the office so I can't look it up.  Does advantage arms sell the .22 conversion kit for Springfield?  Or someone else.

I'm just sold on that (but I guess I could just BUY a .22 for just about the same price as a conversion kit).  I used one on my friends and thought it was pretty slick.

But a his and hers combo for the same price as a .45 and .22 conversion kit?  hmmmmmm  decisions decisions.

I'm not sure about the conversion kit, but I'd be more inclined to pick up a seperate .22.  They're pretty cheap.

If you can hit youtube from work do a search on Hickock45 XDm.  He has a lot of great video reviews on them.

I fondled the XDM 9mm Comp series today at Academy. Pretty slick overall and 19+1 capacity! Ships with 3 mags.
