I remember an interview with Carrie Fisher where she explained how the bra was made of metal and very rigid (and obviously she wasn't). She would continually catch the guys in the film cast & crew taking a peek over her shoulder to enjoy the view, especially when she took any deep breaths...

OMG... the mental images that brings up at work...

I think that whole Leia thing is driven by how old a certain generation were when this came out, maybe today's kids will all be fantasising about Natalie Portman in a white clingy gown (I'm not a kid but...)

Ohter great examples of the phenomenon:-

- Ohura (sp?) on Star Trek
- Seven of Nine
etc etc

Hmmm - just realised these are all sci-fi. Maybe it has something to do with the people watching them!
