It's clear from this thread that only one of you (I won't mention his name... morey1), has a sophisticated yet discriminating palette. The rest of you are barbarians.

Yes, I drink the milk at the end.

The milk at the end is the ABSOLUTE BEST. To impress your spouse/s.o., I recommend tipping the bowl up and slurping down the milk right on the spot.

Hey...If you folks eat the cereal so fast it stays crunchy, why would the milk be warm? Chucky...have you figured out the whole "dry is ick" but "soggy is disgusting" differential yet?

Drink the milk! I had a discussion one early morning with other college friends about how we should market milk with different cereal flavors. And, yes, we hadn't gotten much sleep the night before.
The best grits I've ever had were shrimp and grits in Charleston at a place called Tommy Condon's. The amount of cheese they put in that bowl is obscene. And so, so good.

I was going to mention that if I could BOTTLE certain cereal-tasting milk, I would do just that. Life Cereal/Frosted Flakes/Peanut Butter Crunch are three of my personal "milk" favorites.

That is the most disgusting thing I've ever heard. You might as well bottle sweat and sell it to triathletes as perfume. *lightbulb*

I do not drink the milk after.

Prefer crunchy (and cereals like Shredded Wheat, Cheerios, and Granola that retain some crunch)
Drink the milk (like it, and can't justify wasting it just to soften cereal)
Can't stand Captain Crunch or Lucky Charms, occasionally indulge in some other highly sweetened cereals.

I had a co-worker who would put either water or orange juice on corn flakes.

Comet, for the record, watergirl and I are NOT proposing the saving up and bottling of everyone's used milk at the bottom of their cereal bowls.

We're talking about using advanced flavor technology to reproduce the one-of-a-kind flavor sensation that occurs at the bottom of a good bowl of cereal. Then, we inject that reproduction into fresh milk and bottle it.

Ahh, yes. I can see it now - Lucky Charms flavored milk with all the nutrients and you don't even need a spoon!
And that comment about water or orange juice on corn flakes? That's gross. Although I think my frat boy of a brother used beer once...

NOW we're talkin'. I'll email you a tracking number for your order as soon as we figure out how to make the stuff...then get financing...lease a plant...begin production...figure out distribution, and determine my outrageous salary.

I think you should target the triathlete market.  That would make a yummy snack on the bike.  Although you'd have to use soy milk and get rid of the lactose or else it wouldn't be such a great idea.  And... to keep it cold, they could keep it on ice at aid stations- no spoiling!

I'm in charge of all the high-level strategic planning. Decisions like Soy milk (barf) etc. will be left to watergirl, my VP in charge of everything that Chucky's not doing (which is everything)

Hmmm. Soy milk. Well, I like the super sweet vanilla flavored Silk (that would be the one they make for kids). So soy milk may be an option if it has enough sugar in it. Hey, our milk could be the next sports drink - thanks Janelle!
But morey1, we might have to negotiate two ridiculously high salaries. I don't work for free (okay, maybe I would if I had free Internet, access to BT and food). But that's a different story.

watergirl...you're my "Paul Allen" (co-founder of Microsoft with Bill Gates ). You will be afforded all the trappings a high level executive is so richly accustomed and deserving of.

RG and Comet as "spokesmodels?"

1 - I'll have to review the post in detail, but I don't recall a high degree of interest from either of you in terms of soggy cereal, or drinking the bottom milk. See watergirl, we're gonna have to be careful of this type of activity. Everyone wants to glom on to success.

2 - Of course, the executive team, that as of now also includes Chucky if he ever wakes up from last night's bender, will need to review LOTS and LOTS of bikini shots from all sorts of angles to ensure you have the "tools" required. Spokesmodels are more than just brains and personality, you know. I'm confident you two have what it takes, but we've got to go through the due diligence process. You understand, I'm sure.
