Nice bike!!  I love the colors!  I am still paying on my road bike.  Specialized Roubaix.  Can't wait to get her.  Seeing yours makes me want her even more.  Hopefully by Christmas!  Undecided  Have you taken your bike on its maiden voyage yet?  Named it/her yet?

Tell me more about this maiden voyage. I would like to learn more about it since I've been hearing a lot about it. I thought about Dark Knight whenever I see the bike. So I guess his name is D.K! And I'm so happy you're getting a roubiax!

Nice, D.K.  I like it.  Now about that maiden voyage....  get on your bike and see how he rides.  Go for a nice long ride and let us know how fast he is!

And I'm getting waxed tomorrow, which means no sweating tomorrow as well.

Waxed? Oooh...sexy!

I apologize to the team in advance for my weak miles. After last weekend's 17 miles running and 105 miles biking, I was shot. Next week will be loads better. Heading to Nashville for an Oly tri on Sunday, and next Saturday I have another ginormous bike/run triple brick.

Off to shave (not wax) my legs (because I can't have the guys having smoother legs than me)...

okay, okay.... I went out and ran. But I putzed around so long that as soon as I walked out the door the drizzle had started - so I ended up cutting it short to beat the rain. I guess a short run is better than none at all. Hoping to run longer tomorrow!

Woot! We're halfway through and as long as we have target distances, we should be fine! I finally did a 6 miler today after I moved in, and of course I got waxed yesterday. It was painful in some spots, but I liked the smoothness of it! It will feel like a baby's bum for 4 months or so! Sweet! Well I wont be doing any running this week guys after today. So I'm turning in my mileage this week early.

At week 2 of the challenge, I have finished 10 miles this week. Wish I could've done more, but there was just too many errands which disrupted my rountine. Oh well, I'll help bounce back next week!!

Hey, anything is better than nothing!  I did nothing today.  And I don't feel a bit guilty.  Okay, maybe a little bit.  I should have ridden my bike but I'm really tired.  Oh well, tomorrow I will.

Waxed???  Nice.  Smooth.  Like it.

Nice job on the 10 miles.  Sometimes life happens and we don't get in all the training we would like.  It's all about finding that balance.  I wish I could figure it out!

Have a great weekend everyone!  Good luck to Karen who is racing in Nashville Sunday!

I would just like to say that racing in 25+mph steady winds with gusts over 40mph is not fun.

Just sayin'.

Yikes!  Sounds crazy!  I was thinking about you on Sunday and wondering how your race went.  Sounds interesting to say the least!

Nice job on your 8 miles.  I hope yours were better than my 8.  It was hot and nasty out here.

This week will be much better with many more miles. Unfortunately, not sure I will end up getting the full 120 in by the end...but it was a nice goal (and I will keep trying). Ironman training has a way of getting in the way.

Race report for the Music City TriDuathlon is up on my log. Icky.

Morning Gorlocks!  What's on tap for today??  I'm getting new running shoes, again.  Hopefully these will be better than my last pair I got two weeks ago!

Looking at somewhere between 7-8 miles that includes 3x2 miles at tempo. Hopefully, the pleasant weather will continue through the evening.

Good luck with the shoes!

Oooh new shoes! Love the smell of it =). Was intending an 8miler again to reattempt a sub 8min/mile run. Cut short to 4 miler after bad pre-workout conditioning. Was nice to run at night overall. Really clear sky and cool breeze. I'll see if I can do something tomorrow.

Tomorrow is another (and final) triple brick day. Should come out to 10-11 miles running total. The whole thing will probably take around 9 hours.

Wish me luck!

Good luck with that.  I am debating if I should head to the Y and spin on the bike.  Hubby is working tomorrow so no chance to get out on the road.  I do have some running to catch up on too.  I'd prefer to swim but the pool has swimming lessons all morning.  I really don't feel  like spinning on the stationary.  It's too boring!  We'll see what I feel like tomorrow!

wow... good luck with that! That's one heckuva workout!

I got my last run of the week in today - 10 miler. What a fabulous day here for a run! Absolutely perfect weather! I'm within about 10 miles of my goal now, so I should have no problem meeting my 75 miles by the end of the month.

How's everybody else making out?

Decided not to do any extreme workout today due to a full 20+ hrs of continuous freshmen move-in which I have to get ready for. So for this week, this will be put me at 12 miles.
