Dear Team Captains,

This is the first weekend of reporting.  Please email me your results by Sunday.  The earlier the better!!

My email is shawnbarr99@ yahoo.com.

What I need:

·         Each team members name and their miles run from 9/1 to 9/6

It would be a good idea if you PM all your team members today and remind them to post their miles asap and definitely before Saturday night.

Thanks for being a captain!! Please let me know if you have questions.

Thanks!!

ps...whew, this community organizer stuff is hard work :-)

Yes, it's a pathetic effort.  But your insults and beratement have worked.

Check off 4 miles for the Okras.

2 more tomorrow and I'll be at 25%.

Go Okras!!!

Nice going Shawn!

10.08 HILLY miles for me today. I really need to do some biking to get ready for the duatlon on Sunday but the weather is very cool today. Maybe I can HTFU and get a short ride in later.

Hey,

Can someone update a team chart to include all our members?  I'm not very good at that type of thing.  We need to have Don and Fred added.

and reminder to make sure you get your mileage to aliclimb.  I'm an out of commission on the weekends.  Well, at least away from my computer.

I managed to get in two separate 3.2 mile runs yesterday.  I plan on running tonight and tomorrow, but we won't get to count them since I won't be back until Sunday afternoon.

And congrats to Shawn!  He ran!

Oh, and alison, in case you don't get my pm... I'm at 10.5 this week.

Good job Shawn !!!
I sometimes have a hard time logging on the weekends as well. I sometimes do not have computer access on the weekends. I might be logging Saturaday and Sunday workouts on Monday.
Aliclimb, Can you get my miles from my log on Saturday ?

If everybody's keeping their logs up to date, I can go in and pull mileage up from those if you don't get around to sending me a pm for the week. I'll be sending out reminders today in case some people don't check out the forum regularly.

Aliclimb, when do you need the mileage report? I'm at 51.4 miles so far this week but I'll be doing more tomorrow. I log the miles daily so everything is up to date.

Thanks aliclimb, My logs are up to date through today.  Not sure about tomorrow with the weather, it'll either be bike Sat / run Sun or the other way around.  If you have an idea of when you need them by, I'll make sure you get them.

Good start Okras!

(I know this is not necessary for the Fighting Okras)

OHHHHH - Team Captains,

If your team members do NOT have anything posted by Saturday night.  Just send me what they have; even if it is ZERO.

There's no way I or you can wait around for people to post their miles.

Having a big, fat ZERO or forgetting to log miles will be great fodder for Harassment and Trash Talking next week.

Thanks!!

Ps...once I have your numbers and post results on Monday, I will not make adjustment for people who whine, "I forgot to post my miles."  Babies.

Runnin' god has spoken.

Did the monthly PPRR Neilson 2 mile race. That brings my week total to 53.4.

We picked up our race packets for the duathlon tomorrow. Came home and practiced transitions. I'll have to see how things are laid out whether or not I go with the bike shoes clipped in method. I need between 50-100 yards to get my feet in and the bike course goes onto a narrow trail fairly quickly after transition. The trail then has several tight turns in the first quarter mile. Either I get my feet in quickly or I'll have to wait until the trail straightens out. Only the first mile is on the trail, then all the rest is open roads. I may do a practice on the actual course when I get there in the morning. If it's going to be too much futzing around I'll just put my shoes on at the bike rack.
