Hello! I asked to join this challenge at the beginning of the month but didn't know I was a part of this team until today!

I had set an OUTDOOR running goal of 70 miles for the month. And so far, it's looking good.

Go Team Apples!

Welcome to the team!

I'm behind. Very behind.  Things just have been quite bad with me recently transportation wise. I have been worried about losing my job etc because of it! Stressed about could I afford a new car, didn't want one that was too used etc but TODAY! TODAY! I bought a car that I think I have lucked out on.  A: Because it's a Toyota.  B: It only has 80K on it and C: I can fit all my tri stuff in the back of it without having to take ANYTHING apart!  I posted a picture of the beast in my blog.  It's not MINE but totally the same. I don't have seats in the back and it's slightly lighter in colour.  Maybe it's the fact I'm Scottish and having something like this just is rocking ma tartan socks.

Looooong run (8+miles tomorrow....I hope)  I've been doing a lot of walking so I think I can handle it

Hope you're all having a nice weekend.

Hey Apples!

Some of us are JUST squeaking by the chopping block and will not be served for Thanksgiving dinner... BUT we ARE squeaking by!  Yippee!  Good work keeping up all you good and bad apples (I'm a bad apple, but the leg is finally, really, I think, painfree).

Lovely to see those 60+% completed goals!  keep it up!

I apologize for being so much in absentia, the non-BT-life demands have been unusally troublesome these past two weeks.  Hopefully the balance of the month will find me runnign more and with fewer nonBT challenges!

Had a bad running week last week and some bad weather to go along with it. But I FINALLY hit the 50% mark today with an 8 mile run. It was even easier (by a little bit) than the last time I went that far.  I promise to be a better apple this week. I have some distance to make up.

Nailed a great PR in my half-mary yesterday...race report is here if you're interested.

I'm over 60% for the month, but I'm not sure how much running I'm going to do this week as I recover. I'll hit my mark by the end of the month anyway.

we are the quietest challenge team EVER!

I know, I haven't helped this month.  Life has been more Life-ful than I deserve.  I just told the Pecans that I want a do-over from late Sept.  But, alas, those playground "do-overs" really don't work in real life do they?

Hubs made apple not-quite-crumble tonight... I think I'll try for a run first and then partake.

Have all our apples fallen and rolled away? So quiet here!? I am right on track for my target!   Now that my transport issues are sorted I can enjoy running again    Tis wonderful.  I am going to leave for work a bit earlier tomorrow and get a couple of miles in with my dog in the morning   Then long run Sunday I think.  9-10 miles.  *gulp*

Greetings Pie-rs!

Update your logs and spreadsheet and look to your final week of running -- will you meet your goals?  I'll check team standings tomorrow eve and post to all where teams are placed.

Who's running on Turkey day?  It's my birthday so run a good race for me!  I'll be doing a 5K.  It was meant to be my first 10K but after my late Oct/early Nov injury, I'm not going to push it and re-injure myself.  The first 10K will have to be later.

Keep on runnin'

I've called y'all pies, but really you're just the fillings... soon it'll be time to put the topping on, toss in the oven and serve up with whipped orice cream.  Looks like the Pumpkins will have it - who else?

Apples  72.74%

Pecans 74.94%

Pumpkins 82.90%

I biked 50 miles today and after an 1 + 1/2 hour of rest I ran 4.1 miles at 6:41 pace.  My quads are feeling it with my NEWTONS.  Also, if you guys each pay me 5 bucks I'll try to run 10 miles a day until the month ends to win the pie title.

Yeah RedSox!

I did a 5K Turkey Trot this morning - my SLOWEST 5K ever.  between being sick this week and the thousands of other runners to wade through, it was not a "race" day for me.  The good news about a sloooooow race time - My goal for teh month was based onminutes, not miles so slow running gets me to my goal faster.  ha!

Happy Turkeys Apples!

Even though you were sick you got out there!  I slept through my Turkey Trot last year    I have 14.7 miles to go and with the 1/2 marathon Sunday I should make my goal after I take my nutter of a dog for a run tomorrow.  Short one

Have a nice weekend everyone!
