Right wheer I expected the numbers to be.  Although my resting heart rate is somewhat higher than I would want it to be.

Very nice data! Thanks so much! Veronica predicted that swimming would raise a person's heart rate the most due to the whole body being engaged.  Its looking like that is not the case.  She doesn't get a bad mark for predicting wrong.

I suspect that she's going to find that it's not the amount of muscles used in a sport, but the impact on them.  High impact sports like running (at least in me) have always raised my heartrate higher than biking (with a mechanical advantage) and swimming (basically zero impact).  It'll be interesting to see what her results with everyone show.

I was going to make my DD do it but it seems that I am the one doing the data work!! I will have her do the math with it!  I will work on it and post it later tonight.

Thanks Beth and Mike!

Okay...we are doing pretty good! I will have her take all the data we collect by Feb 13th and work with it.  So we have another week or so if anyone is still collecting data.

I will make sure I post her summary, etc when she gets it done.  Thanks again.
