Hi Skinnies!

Hope March is treating you well so far! Thanks a lot for your support re skinny physio - I can't really change her as I'm using a free university service so it's pure luck (or lack of it) who I'm going to meet next time. And her having an obvious issue that I'm not pure Irish really pushed my buttons there. Anyways, decided to try light jogging today or I'm gonna explode.

I'm not sure yet what my goal for March is - this shall be revealed on Wednesday morning.

Have a good Monday!

She really had an issue with your ethnicity??? How do they (irish, purebloods) see tourists?

Irish are very friendly and hospitable nation and we love the tourists, seriously! We're very open and most would chat you to death - when there's nobody around (and that is an EXTREME case) we'd talk to the wall (seriously!). I think Irish must be in the Top 3 of The World Friendliest Nations. See, most people don't even notice that I'm different and would have to hear me talk to tell that I'm not one of them but still they wouldn't be really sure if that's the case and if so where to place me on the map- oh well she was just a skinny bi@tch and probably had her 'girly days' on top of that. She could also be jealous that I'm a triathlete and she's not

Absolutely!!!!! I think that's it! And I thought you were Irish, no? From the mainland, are we???

i146q - 2009-03-02 4:27 AM Oh forgot to mention, not sure if you guys remember the earrings I had in when I posted the p90 and p90x pix... Well I took them out about 3wks ago. Just thought I'd let you know, I've returned to the land of normalcy after 12 yrs of having 1/4lb hanging from either side of my head!

Wish I could think of a way to drop half a pound that quick!

, if not earrings, I'm sure a good stomach flu would help!!!

Alright first weigh-in for the month, and I'm continuing the sub-190... @ 189.8 Hopefully this snowballs! Maybe if I stay up studying all night again, I can accomplish this? Well, have Bio test tomorrow (1 pm), so I think I will stay up and outline the chapters. Wish me luck!

mammaJaS hey, good job, how are the knees?

Josh, well done on getting under 190

can't weigh in today cos I'm not at the gym and I'm too mean to buy a new set of scales - all day at pre-school on Wacky Wednesday, 38 five-year olds, I'm exhausted.  The Munchkin has his pre-school check-up from the nurse and he need glasses.  She called me through to watch him reading the chart and his eyesight is pretty shocking, but she said we wouldn't have been able to notice as he doesn't know how he's supposed to see.  Maybe that's why he's scared to go fast on his bike. he's already one of those kids with an 'old soul', with glasses he is going to be even more cute.  He wants to know if he can get "tontic lenses" like Mummy.   So, off to the GP on Friday for a referral (there goes Friday's cycle) and then on to the pedeatric optitician.  Little darling seems to be taking it in his stride.

Hi all newbies, I'm trying to lose a last 10lb after putting on 60lb while pregnant, I'm a bit slack but find this place helps a lot, hope you do too.

Last 157.0

Today: 158

Up: 1

I am not going to freak just yet.  My clothes still fit with no problem and I am up 8  for the last 4 months.  I am eating more because of the non-smoking thing (at least that is the excuse this week).  Body fat is staying at 13-14%.

"Like a collective panic attack of dying fat cells ... "

I love this description! It's the best ever! And I have them (the panic attacks) on a very regular basis- like every day nearly, and especially when I go swimming. But then I'm trying to visualise the end result (or near end result). This is the picture I have in my head: it's a beautiful, sunny summer here in Limerick (this line just proves I'm hallucinating), the camera shows people on the beach in Lahinch (West of Ireland at the ocean, very nice), and there it is me: grinning away in jeans size 10 and my beloved Snoppy T-shirt (very apporpriate outfit for a 30-year old). This vision, though clearly indicating that I'm somewhat losing it, helps me in the moments of doubt.

Last week: 227.4

This week: 228

Up .6 lbs

Wow, two gains in a row, albeit small ones. I think I may have needed this to kick me back into gear. This week WILL be better. Isn't that kind of positive affirmation supposed to work?

I got my Weight WAtchers 5-lb. star -- FINALLY!

I moved out last night and am going to get a divorce, so I don't have my "official" scale. I weighed in at 199.2 on the WW scale. It's historically 4-5 pounds above my scale. So I am probably at 195. But judging by my aversion to weighing 189, it might be good to go "scaleless" for a while.

I was down 1.6 at Weight Watchers today.  I was up 2.6 two weeks ago and was really hoping to have shed that, but, alas, it was not to be.  Down 1.6 is better than a poke in the eye.  But not as good as being down 2.6 pounds.

So, at 151 today, I have set a goal of being a perfect physical specimen by May 31.  I am calling this 15 pounds because I am not sure of how to quantify it, but I really want to be at 25% body fat.  Or less.  Between the s/b/r and Crossfit and yoga, I think it is doable.

Have a good week to everyone.  And congrats to all the losers, even those who lost a whole spouse.  Having done it myself, I know that generally speaking, it is a good thing.  Tough at the time, but overall good.
