Get up out of that chair your in and join us!  This will be my second and the smaller course is already a bummer.  You should take advantage of it with the calm waters, short bike, and shady run.  I do know one thing, if you do not take me up on this, you will reflect back in Sept. saying you should have.  Just do it dude.

I see everyone is pumped for this race, i havent been able to train due to school and a nagging IT band. Im gonna wing this one and hope to survive lol.

Bummer about the short course, that run course kicked my A$$ in the MIT.

Hope to see you all there.

I got #145...not crazy about the new course either but I ride virginia key 2-3 times a week so the speed bumps don't bother me...one thing I'm happy about is not having to run a half mile from swim exit to transition...looking to go under an hour for this race

markgent91 - 2009-06-25 9:32 PM Newbie question - Is the water typically to warm during the trilogy to allow use of a wetsuit?  I may be doing the July race as my first tri.....

there's no way that this race will be wet suit legal...the water is really nice and warm so you wouldn't need it anyway

I took note of all your numbers and will try and come by to say hello.  As I am jumping in the car from Key West to come sign in today I will not be able to post my number unless the hotel has a biz center.  If not, just look for the yard sale in the transition area...that'll be me.

Good luck everyone and let's burn this short course up!

Great race everybody.  I was able to meet Velo this time (found her at her usual spot...the award podium) and only saw a couple of your bikes on the racks when I tried for the rest of you.  Maybe next time.  I do not know about all of you, but the swim was harder than expected and the run was too.  Even with that, I brought home some hardware this time (3rd in group) and for my second race I'm pumped.  I posted my race report and look forward to seeing all of yours.

Wow, the Trilogy tread seems to have suffered from a sudden death.  I was out for a week thinking I would get all of this new chatter and nuttin, nada, zippo.  Trilogy 3 is in a week and a half...who is in?

(just signed up yesterday myself)

My son's swim coach (fresh out of college) was number 1 out of the water.  He's a newbie to the sport and is loving it.  One of these years I'll get down there to do a tri, here great things about them all the time.

I have been super busy with school and unable to train because of my IT band. Im gonna be going out of the country for a couple weeks so i will miss trilogy 3 which is not such a bad thing due to my knee. Im gonna have to transfer the race to another one, thinking about OCT 18 since its my bday.

OK racers, I broke down and had to load Trilogy 3 as a race because we all had listed last year's race as the one we were planning on doing this weekend.  Yeah, the run ended up wrong in the decription but at least the rest is correct including the venue change.  Please join if you are racing as I look like the lone cowboy as the single participant.

got my packet yesterday and was a little shocked to see the race cap....an orange and black fish, like "Nemo" with big eyes and a smile...and to top it all off, two little fins. are they playing a joke on me?

No, they're just getting "cute."

Actually, I have I don't know how many yellow and red caps...I really don't need any new ones unless there is a drastic change in the cap.

Picking up my packet tomorrow morning after a short ride.

Good luck everyone!
