Those trying to gain muscle, don't get discouraged if it's really slow progress, as muscle growth doesn't happen much (outside of the newbie training period ) without eating sufficient calories (more than you're burning ). This is hard to do while doing lots of cardio, so if you have been weight training for more than a few months it will probably be best to focus on one thing at a time. Trying to do both, can be done, but you have to keep swapping days where you eat excess calories and then a deficit in another. Good luck to everyone, and oh yeah.. (it takes a lot longer than 7 weeks to really get ripped! ) |
