I can bike 2 hours and feel great after.
+2. I'm surprised cycling didn't get more votes. IMO, all endurance activities are close enough together in cals burned/hr that the most important aspect for weight loss would be which activity could be done comfortably and enjoyably the most hours per week.
If you consider doing just one of S/B/R regularly, IMO, almost anyone could ramp up easily to 10 hours/week of cycling. Weight would fall off regularly and most people would eventually have to try to eat to keep weight on. For me personally, cycling is so enjoyable it doesn't even seem much like work.
IMO, it's much harder to put in those kind of hours either by running or swimming. |
