RichieRich - 2009-07-16 12:40 PM I'd also go for a HTFU sticker.  Info?

You can find a sticker for just about anything you can imagine on good ol' Cafe Press...

You ought to see trixie's mobile home. Heh.

I roll with no stickers. I don't like the USAT, so that one didn't make the cut. Everything else seems a little bragadocious, so the bumper goes plain.

I have two - the old one and the new one. These are rare up here in Canada, with very few people racing regularly in the U.S., and far fewer bothering to join USAT.

I used to have a 140.6 sticker, but my irons were in '04 and '05, so that was getting to be ancient history and I removed it some time ago.

I don't recall seeinga 3.1 yet.

I'm sooo getting this sticker... I wonder if they also have a 1 mile fun run.

of course   I don't have anything on my car, but everytime I see a USAT sticker I look to see if I vaguely recognize the person..

I finally removed my 26.2 sticker and replaced it with my new USAT sticker (this is my 1st tri season).  I figured it's been almost 3 years since my last marathon and I have no desire to do another one until my kids are older, so I felt kinda like a fraud sporting the 26.2 around.  Besides, I am loving the Tri thing!

By the way, My hubby thought I was a total dork to get so excited about getting a sticker in the mail, lol!

I turned my sticker into a trailer hitch cover.  Just cut some hard rubber in the shape of the sticker, epoxied it to a hitch insert cover and placed the sticker over it.  Looks pretty neat.

Venomized - 2009-07-16 12:24 PM I have a 26.2 sticker and a "Running is cheaper than therapy" sticker.  I will have to add a tri sticker after I earn it at my first tri.

Somebody mentioned making a sticker a magnet, my experience with magnets is they scratch up the paint easily.  Plus I have found them to disappear sometimes.

The rubber-coated magnets you can buy at craft stores don't scratch, but, yeah, mine disappeared from the back of my car. I'm hoping it fell of, that someone wouldn't have to (or want to) steal a USAT sticker.

I share you optimistic - if not naive - view of humanity.

~Mike

Some time people just take things because they can. I've had several magnets lost (not tri ones), and I don't think they fell off.

Here in Dallas I see many, many USAT stickers.  Also see lots of 140.6, 70.3, IM, M-dot, etc.  Seriously, I see them every day on cars on the roads around here.  I've got USAT sticker and a 140.6 sticker and IMAZ and IMFL license plate holders on my Explorer.  This is probably because there is a large and strong Tri community in Dallas.  And many races.  I could race every weekend in the larger metro area if I wanted to.

What's an M-dot sticker?

Now my favorite sticker is the AT stickers from the Appalachian Trail.  It's usually partnered with a SSI/TyB/HHI/OBX (southeastern islands) sticker on a Land Rover or a "Legalize it" or "String Cheese Incident" sticker on a smoking 89 Honda Accord.

I haven't put mine on my truck because I am planning on getting a new vehicle soon. I couldn't find a place to buy a replacement sticker, so I'm saving it. Does anyone know where I can order one?

Last time I called them for something, I asked if they could send me a stack of them, they asked how many, and I told them how many I wanted. 2 days later, they showed up at my home, fedex.

I saw one today at work on the back of a Volvo that said iTri.  Then I saw another Volvo today with a woman who got out (who was so damn fine) and she had a sticker that said SBR which I assume is Swim/Bike/Run.  She did have a nice Yakima bike rack on the back.  Basically I think if you see a Volvo station wagon there will be some kind of triathlon or running sticker.  Though here in Atlanta if those are missing you'll see the ALTA sticker which is Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association or something like that.

I want one that says "Swim, Bike, Run.  Why? Because you can't"

Haven't pulled the trigger on the 70.3-I finished but it was a disaster.

Best I ever saw at a tri was "Death before DNF"
