KathyG - 2010-02-28 7:18 PM Anyone want to ride longer on March 6, say 2-3 hours and either run after wards or not? Possibly meeting at noon or earlier and come back and meet up with others at noon. I'm flexible.

I have a HIM in April so need to get some longer rides in.

Kathy I might be in - depends on whether NEBC women are going out = my first bike race will be Turtle Pond in april....so I will need to do a long ride either saturday or sunday - in the 3 hour range...

hi all,

How can we ride in snow covered? I will show up but will rely on more senior folks to make a weather call.

Look forward to being a newbie w/ the pros.

should be fun...

Hey All,

Where are you riding and when? I've got 4 1/2 on the schedule, so I'm curious.

I live in N Attleboro and it snowed today but streets are clear just wet. I plan on riding outside Friday as well...roads are okay by me other than lots of sand. My tri bike will still be on the computrainer and I'll be riding my cyclocross bike with road tires on it.

I'm confused at what time some are meeting or are there different times?

I'd rather go earlier say 10-10:30 as my kids have soccer practice all afternoon.

I'm still planning on more than 2 hours but not doing the course over and over. If anyone knows another route or road to ride around there that is say 25-35-40 miles I'd love to know it.

I live 10 miles from the course and the roads are fine. Like Kathy said, there is still alot of sand on the roads and you have to be careful. I dont think we will have anythng to worry about in terms of snow.

Is there a plan? I could be there around noon, I'd ride from Worcester, - depending on how long that took, I'd do either 1 or 2 loops and then head home, but i can also ride locally, so I'm not to worried if there isn't a plan.

There is a group meeting a 10 am tomorrow.  Wheels up no later than 10:30!!!  A bunch of us will be doing a bike run bike brick.  The plan is to do the bike course, then run 5K and get back on the bike again.  Others will likely just be riding.

I also plan on bringing my wetsuit for a very brief OWS Wink.  You in mav?

hi all, i live 25 minutes away and the snow didnt stick so the bike route should be fine. the run is on a roadway, some grass and over a dirt pathway. if its too wet or slushy, we can always run on the road. the park has long roadways which are miles long, we can just measure out 3.1miles. lastly, i think 12 is a good time cuz its the warmest part of the day. myself and seren will be doing the bike and run once.

Yes mav should bring her wetsuit!

I'm planning on getting there around 10 and riding for about 2-3 hours zone 2 like IM pace. I have a run but will do that at home later. Kevin might come but not ride as long as I am.

I hear we get to see some nice new bikes...

Hello Crazy Town! You know mav would hop into the water without much of a push... but it's probably too cold still, or a 45 second OWS... I will consider it. We'll see you at 10am!

I've got a 90 minute ride scheduled so I will either do a bike-run-bike brick or do 2 or 3 loops then run.  You 10AM people...how far are you riding?

We'll be down in the main parking lot right next to the lake.  Go into the park, past the guardhouse and bear right.  See you all there!

Tonight I registered for the tri and Kevin is doing the du. Last year we waffled about doing it as a relay than it was full. Figured it was time to pull the trigger.

See everyone tomorrow
