Guess I was wrong?!? I distinctly recall passing a lot of ladies on the bike but I guess that could have been the second lap. I stand corrected. The reason, I would assume, that women go last is because the women's groups are slower than the men's groups (duh! ). The prevailing wisdom would be to place the slower folks last to lessen the "clog" on the race course for the faster folks. I also see the point in having the slower groups go first in order to clear the course faster. |
