smilford - 2010-08-09 1:45 PM I'm not a Ritter fan, he needs to go about 21 seconds slower. Then I would be a bigger Ritter fan.

You'd both have to be 21 minutes slower for me to be a fan.

So...I loved the race and improved my times in all three disciplines finishing with my best overall time!!! However, it claims that i DNF...what the heck is going on...I know I finished because my good friend and I actually crossed the finish line together!! Does anyone know what might be wrong or if it can be corrected. I have my times on my garmin and that would be my only proof. If anyone knows something that I don't please inform!! Thanks and congrats to all who finished!!!

I would suggest contacting the race director concerning your results. There are many female results that are incorrect on the website.

Bottom line is the timing company screwed up the results not the race director. But it is the race directors responsibility to make sure the correct results are posted. I sent an email to the race director concerning problems with the results in my AG.

Check out the elite female results. From what I have observed in the past, elite females don't normally post 2 hour sprint triathlon results.

did your timing chip fall off?  or do you remember someone taking it off of you at the finish?

I finished and vividly remember someone taking it off...All of my times are on the results including my T2...seems like the timing chip never stopped once I crossed the finish line..there were a few others where it looked like the same thing occured.

Well loved this race but it was a little screwed up for me because I forgot my timing chip til the last second. Then as my red cap group took off I got my chip and had to start with the green caps. So I was the stupid one in there with the wrong color cap. They haven't fixed my time yet and gave me back my 5 minutes but I emailed the race director and he said they would fix it. I honestly dunno how any one went 27 mph. I was hammering it by people and I was averaging i think 24. Anyways hope everyone had fun. I know I did.
