Welcome to the Liquigas Team thread.

http://www.teamliquigas.it/2009/eng/main.php

Liquigas is an Italian based team, led this year by Ivan Basso, who is coming off a very nice win at a very tough and wet  Giro d'Italia the fist of the 3 Grand Tours this year.

Their TdF team this year will also be led by Ivan Basso with main support from Roman Kreuziger.  Unfortunately teams that win the Giro tend not to do well in the tour but maybe this year Basso can get the double.

There should be a link soon to the spreadsheet for entering you times/stages/distances.

Nice work - thanks... I havent had the chance to collect pictures or write intros or anything so a HUGE thankyou for just picking up the ball and running with it while Im still trying to get back on board!

akrenik - 2010-07-04 7:08 PM Hi everyone!  I am ann-marie.  I haven't done a challenge in awhile.  At first I didn't want to pick Liquigas because I didn't know any of the riders.  But I ride a Cannondale and so I wanted to be true to my sweet new bike!  haha.

Is there a spreadsheet where we are logging our rides yet?  If so where do I find it and what is the logon/password?
No spreadsheets yet. Cat will give them them to us soon though!

Ummm yeah... sorry about that... please be patient with me Im sure life will be back to normal once Ive caught up with work (and figured out which timezone Im on.... kiwi? Aussie? French? all?)

Hey guys, I set up a spreadsheet for us, based on the one that Cat had for last year's TdF challenge.

Go here:

The first three columns are your goals.
The next columns are your progress so far.

Good grief, I feel like a rookie in the all-star of post-padding game.  How did I get here?  How do I keep up?  How many times will Dee taser me by the end?

For now, I guess I should just be happy that I made my first post by page 3!

Usually its a week or more project involving sourcing all the team jerseys and images... writing up all the intros, working out the teams so they are balanced.... then getting everything up before inspiring everyone in the challenge to let them know teams are available...

Im lucky that a lot of the cycling information sticks in my head i guess!!

But this time Im afraid there are no spreadsheets ready, no intros and everyone is going to have to figure out their teams for themselves! I feel bad but its just for this year.... hopefully things will be back to normal very soon!

1. You are a perpetual rookie.
2. I think you made a right turn at the stop sign.
3. Spend 24/7 on BT and post as fast as you can.
4. Many. Many many. Very very many many.
5. You'd better check in more frequently. We'll be on page 22 before you know it.

Anyone else wish that the team was sporting these jerseys instead of the ones they do now?  Not that I have anything against the colorblind but I really don't think they should be creating racing team kits!

I wish Pelozoti was racing this year, he won King of The Mountain last year (hence the polka dot bike/jersey and I think maybe helmet)

Good morning everyone.  Hard to post as much for me on the weekend, but tomorrow it's on!

Have another bike planned for today, probably on the trainer but it's all good.
