Just got an email from the Carlsbad race organizers. They said they expect the half mary to sell out by the first week of October so if there's any ghoulies that haven't signed up yet you better do it now!

Hey guys! Ended up going to a party tonight. It was really fun. A bunch of people in my class did a cover band type of thing. I wish I was musically talented. But I am more than happy to chill and sing/dance along! Haha. I still have not fully decided on Carlsbad...ack...?

I climbed Camelback up the Charro Trail because the other one was closed for a rescue - LOL - I won't be telling my wife that part!

Bought some new shoes but I forgot to grab socks so my toes were on fire on the way down. Once I hit the pavement I took them off and ran barefoot to the car just to see what it was like. A whole different ball game compared to VFF for sure.

Sent some photos to my FB pages also if you guys want to see Phoenix from the hightest point around the city.

Hey Bill, glad you got to the top but sorry you couldn't take the Echo Canyon trail. I always found going down that trail more difficult than up. There was a 70 yo man that ran it every morning. He passed me every time I climbed. Will go check out your pics in a bit.
