I'm dismayed by the Canucks too but then look at their goals. I sense a bit of sandbagging going on maybe. We've gotten a decent start and we'll be finishing strong. The forecast is starting to look alot like Spring. Go Big East!

That would be the sound of the Big East whipping past....as it gets warmer, nay, just right for biking.

THEM:

The only thing whipping past the Canucks might be Lance, other than that, those US PAC 10 people can see our maple leaf toting backs all the way to the finish....

I take it they have not learned from the run challenge, DONT MESS WITH THE BEAVER COUNTRY!!!!!! YEEEHAAAAAA

Woohoo, I hit the century mark for this month. Had to ride the rollers last night to make up for not commuting due to possible hail.

Go Big East !!

I'm attaching the updated rankings. We are currently second from the bottom but it is a pretty tight grouping. The master page is messed up and the ACC is really at 41.28% rather than the over 70 they are shown at. Two important things to note about the chart though about our team- we are the largest team in terms of numbers and we are definitely the largest in terms of goals. The next closest team for total goal isn't much over half of ours so we have actually put up the biggest numbers so far.

The weather is getting better and almost half of us participated in the Boston RtR races this past weekend so lets get riding Big East!

And, as I told mperdue last night, all else fails we'll be doing some monster rides on Mar 31.

Lets get it moving Big East!

I doubled my monthly total this morning (from 30 min to 1 hr), but hey, it still doubled.

Hopefully, I'll get into a twice a week biking routine to get me to my goal. Otherwise, a nice long friday morning ride on March 31st.

EmilyG will meet her goal early as her Dad has challenged her to try to reach double her goal.

This is a rest recovery week for me after my excitement on Sunday. I will be getting some longer rides in last half of the month and next week I'll be commuting to work a time or two unless it snows...20 miles round trip...maybe 1'15" each day I commute

I swear the cycle gods are teasing me...all the nice days I haven't been able to ride....and the days I'm scheduled to ride it has been crappy out. One day this will all fall into sink! But my desire to get out there...is huge as I have spent so much time this winter swimming and running and riding the training not outdoors on roads.

Hit my century mark today (the Ides of March!).  Exceeding my goal, which is good, compared to last month, when I missed the mark with running.  Today it snowed and hailed.  Crazy weather!

Great job on being the latest Big Easter to hit the century mark. Isn't it nice to know there is a little cushion at this point?

We're putting in the smack down on those other teams. Go Big East!

OT- Did anyone else notice that Montana got a 12 seed? I don't think the men have ever been anything higher than a 16 seed before. It would be so great if they make it past the 1st round. I was a little dissappointed to see that the Lady Griz didn't get an invite but the Army women did. Can you tell that in spite of being a Syracuse grad, I didn't grow up in the east?

Man, who ordered the wind! Been really blowing hard out here the last couple of days. I'm stoked, reached the 1/2 way point to my goal this AM. All downhill from here...figuratively speaking of course...

I'm 27 minutes short of halfway but I will take of that tomorrow with a 2+ hour ride. I'm just hoping to do it outside.

Okay - I think I'm over halfway done. I'm doing about what I expected to be able to do - good thing I didn't count on having any extra training time this month - work has been all encompassing and I may need to work for the 3rd weekend in a row this weekend.

Weekly update- most people are doing pretty well. I know at least one person has more miles than what was in her log because we rode at the same time but I can't record anything that isn't logged. So please look at the spreadsheet and make sure I'm giving credit where credit is due. I'm in FL at Disney World this week so I will have variable computer access but will be doing some training.

I did the math and if I follow my training plan to the letter I'll be 2.5 hours short. I need to add some bike time in before the end of the month.

Spring feels like Winter in MN where I grew up today....rant....rant I want nice weather so I can ride outside.

I'm an hour ahead of my goal of 1 hour per day.  I hope to kick it up a bit over the next 10 days, maybe I can finish with 5 extra hours in the bank.  If we'd just get a nice warm weekend, I could really pile some more miles on.  35 hours per month on the trainer is more than any man should endure!  But it's all for you guys...let's ROCK!!

I've fallen into a small rut. Probably being the only Southerner in this group, I wasn't counting on the cold (or the 10" of rain this weekend). I had to abandon my commute today due to temps in the upper 30's with 15-20 mph (head)winds. I'll make it up tonight in my garage.

But, it's been 4 days since I've been on my bike and I've already logged almost 2 1/2 hours more time (12 1/2 total) than I did last month ... and there are still 10 days left. Also, Friday put me past the 200 mi. mark

Max, you are truely insane. I'm just glad I'm on the same team.
