I'm nervous as hell for tommorow, yet very excited. as long as I'm not the last place male under 30 I'll be happy.

Nerves are normal and goes with racing for sure! Don't worry about your place in the race.....just enjoy the experience....placing well is a bonus! I know we all get wrapped up in times, placing, etc.

Nervous and excited here too!

Hi everyone, just wanted to comment on what a great site this is! I just "found" it and signed up for it a few weeks ago.

I am entered in the GL I Try a Tri distance this weekend and it is my first ever race. I am a little nervous but also excited and can't wait to get out there tomorrow!

This whole triathlon thing started out by my friend who bet me a case of beer I wouldn't do it, (totally a Canadian thing) and it turns out that I have really enjoyed the training and hope to go in many more tri's in the future...

See you there!

Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a great time at Guelph. I was VERY disappointed not to see another other BT'rs. Maybe next time. A little late posting my race results (done now). Left town right after the event for a 4 day backpacking trip. Back home, and ready to get back at the training. Is anyone doing Gravenhurst?
