Reno8 - 2007-12-10 8:24 AM Hey Mila...You feeling better? I met Jonathan yesterday at SCT and I am in his Mentor Group...Hope he isn't too hard on us old folks. Steve

Hey Steve!

Yup, I'm feeling a little bit better, thanks!  Those antibiotics sure work fast.  Jonathan and I are like two peas in a pod.  He is just as evil as I am.  Good luck with that .  Kidding, kidding... kind of

Oh my.... two pages to catch up on already!

OK, Sal and I did submit our bios for co-mentoring.  I hope we get approved.  Sal and his cheesecake distribution could be trouble.

Ah shoot...I already signed up with another group...if I had known you and Sal were going to go through with it... Well, I'll just have to stalk your thread. It's never stopped me before...I think I may have posted as much on Reindeers as Elves, and I know posted more on Nibs than on Moscateers... 4 more hours. 4 more hours. Oh, and I lost my office key.

I can't believe you doubted us, Kristen .

enders_shadow - 2007-12-10 4:34 AM Good morning! I see how you are...move to a new thread on a day when I'm supposed to be MIA...you all are trying to hide! (Too bad it didn't work!) I'm SOOOOOOOOOO excited. In honor of this momentous occasion, I will sing you an only-slightly-altered song... Almost heaven, Central virginia Blue ridge mountains Shenandoah river - I feel old there Older than the trees My kids are younger than the mountains Growin like a breeze Country roads, take me home To the place I belong Central virginia, I'm the momma Take me home, country roads It's always good to put a slightly irritating song in your mind before I vamoose for the day. Thus, my work here is done.

Kristen,

before I leave for work, I though I should mention that I didn't realize that you had such a lovely voice

you should sing to us more often my dear

have a safe trip!!!!!

enders_shadow - 2007-12-09 6:55 PM I co-mentored last time with a person who has raced more than me (she was my mentor for the 1st go-round)...we are in the same boat (married, kids, jobs, limited training, etc.) so we thought we'd do OK... However, I am a bad mentor. I have the attention span of a flea on a ferret. I am irresponsible. I left my mentees hanging and I feel darn guilty about it. (I only still follow up on one of them, but a few others ones are still on the BT boards, so I am a bad mentor.) That is all. Actually, I lied...I was thinking of signing up as a mentee instead - with someone a little more hardcore (and no, Mila - not ADollar - I looked, pondered, and immediately decided, um no.)

Actually... $1.79's serious triathlon advice is pretty darn good, as evidenced by a lot of his posts (ummmm... but probably not the ones in COJ ).

Maybe Sal and I could co-mentor.  Then I could boss him around even more .

Oh, I totally respect his sooper tri-knowledge...but, yeah - the COJ posts. mmmmmm You and Sal would be way fun.

I think so too.  It's a plan.  I just have to tell Sal that's what he's doing.

So...once again...I leave BT for the weekend, and I come back to this...actually I'm thrilled...Mila's like a drug...you always come back...let this be a lesson to you all...don't leave BT for longer than a day...

At swim meets in HS we used to suck on honey or koolaid (with the sugar already mixed in)
Found some cereal. Not as good as LD, of course....
Unless it is Captain Crunch or Sugar Pops. I looooovvvve those two. They are deadly.
I used to love Sugar Pops! Hm, don't think I've ever tried Cap'n Crunch though.
I highly recommend the peanut butter Cap'n Crunch. Crunchy little peanut butter flavored barrels guaranteed to bring on that sugar high!

Go with the Reese's Puffs (shameless subliminal marketing ploy...)

Is it horrible to admit that this morning when 4 yr old ate last of "Froggie Cereal"  (Honey Smacks)  I was excited, b/c I know the next box to get opened is Lucky Charms (favorite late night snack )

If you leave for more than 10 minutes, you will be volunteered.

And since you weren't here to defend yourself offer input, well, your new job may be quite a surprise!

Help. Me.

It's only 1:35 PM.

It's been 1:35 PM for about three hours now.

Is the clock broken?

Should I be posting this in TAN?

If I hit the submit button, am I padding my post count?

Why is it that despite my efforts at post count padding, BETH'S post count is ALWAYS way ahead of mine?

Does this mean that Beth pads her post count better than I do?

Oh look. It's still 1:35 PM....

As for Spokes and his avatar... I simply can't keep up.  You know, with me, it's either tiaras and pink chucks or some sort of holiday tiara or pinkness.  Easy to keep track of.  Now cough up the hot pic, Scott .
