Welcome, welcome, one and all, to handling as much T.I.T.S. as you possibly can in a month!

As for me ... T.I.T.S. = Time to Introduce The Self

I'm Yanti, and I am a problem. Or so I keep getting told! I do have the delightful distinction of riding the bike that I actually learned, as an adult, how to ride on (see below). The cruiser bars were an add-on b/c I could not steer with drop bars. I purchased it a week before my first triathlon, which I did with giant strawberries on my knees from learning how to ride it.

I'm therefore still in the initial-years process of building up a good bike base, and 27 hours this month will certainly help. (Actually, that's 26.6 now ... I thoroughly enjoyed T.I.T.S. secretly today--I am not supposed to ride outside yet, due to a slipped disc in my neck, but having my T.I.T.S. out in the open today was so nice ... warm and lovely and pink in near-sunset dusk).

If you haven't stopped by my blog yet, I'll have you know my T.I.T.S. are for HIM ... California 70.3 on March 29.

Here's to a fantastic team and lots of wild riding deep in the saddle!!!

Oh man, Yanti, that bike ROCKS and so do you!

OK enough crying about the "cold" weather.  Just went out for a 5k tempo run, took me until 21 min to pull my hands out from the sleeves, didn't sweat until I came back indoors, LOL!  Hopefully I can bone up a bit and ride in tomorrow, forecast is ~34F at 8am, NOT!

Winds: NNW at 10mph

I love winter in the South.  It didn't quite get to 40 here today and that's considered a frigid day.  I'm still a wimp and stayed inside for my T.I.T.S.

Ummm ... would a sample team logo help?

Except, of course, that might make marmadaddy come and get all over our T.I.T.S. ...

I save mine for long club rides so that by end I'm practically pole vaulting off the bike.

Hey check these out, tHis would be fun!

Each year a group organizes a mass bike ride, modelled after the Critical Mass bike ride in San Francisco. In the SF ride, hundreds and thousands of bikes gather for the Friday evening commute, taking over the road and feeling safe in numbers.

Uh oh, apparently California is about to get blasted by a record setting storm. There are flash flood adviseries in all the burn areas from the fires this past fall (which is very close to me). This won't be good for my T.I.T.S. I am scheduled for a 3 hour ride this weekend and now I am a bit concerned, I don't know if I can do 3 hours on a bike trainer!!!

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping San Diego can work it's awesome weather mojo and find a way to bypass any kind of significant rainfall the way it usually does.

Wow, sorry about the storms.  Stay safe!

Yes, you CAN do 3 hours on the trainer.  You just need some good motivational programming to get you through.  Ironman races, Tour de France, riveting movie.  Sometimes you just have to get creative and find something that will hold your attention for an extended period.  Hope you can get outside, but if not, you can still get it done!
