Pro 4608 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: Team Vixen - Dec. Limiter Challenge Hi Vixens! It's SOOOOOOO cold in NYC. Today's my day off, but I'm leaving at 4 for the airport for a biz trip, so it's only partially off. I met BTer rkreuser (Rick) for coffee this morning. He's working here for about 6 months so I'm hoping to do some running with him. I need faster people to pace me. I went to the new pool today for a short swim, which - yay! - counts toward my goal! Loved the gym, I have no regrets. I fear I may have overstated on the goal, however. My shoulder was miserable the past few days, it kept me up almost the entire night Saturday. If the pain doesn't subside, I'll have to scale back. I'm starting HIM training soon and just can't risk any further damage. Let's hope it doesn't happen! |

I would like to talk to his teach first but she's out sick. She called and said she was having some sort of allergic reaction and couldn't make our meeting. I think she needs to HTFU! I called. What a waste of time! The psych told me to bring in a copy of the OT report. They don't/won't do an eval themselves. I don't get it. What is the OT doing all day that she can't check out my kid? Oh well, I talked to a great advocacy group today and was able to get a ton of guidance as to what I need to do next. That was nice. |

Florida would be much better this time of year.) |

Should be ready by begining of summer I'm thinking (actually before then but no races till then). Would it be too soon to then train for and complete an oly by the end of summer beginning of fall? |

If you think you will be ready for a spring by the beginning of summer then I would say thats realistic and yuo should be just fine! I would look at an Oly program and start that 12 weeks or so prior taking into account the sprint race... make sure yuo can do all of the distances separately in training at least once before had for reassurance and you will be fine!!!
