But at least she is still around to talk to.  I miss mine.  It has been 3 years now and I still miss her lots and yes, she drove me crazy too.
That's what I tell myself.  Dad died 2 years ago...she's lonely...she won't always be around...

Got a stage in today, 56 miles I had an amazing day, set a 26 min PR at 5:50:17, totally blowing away any expectations I had. I felt strong, comfortable, pain free. It's hard to believe I actually had that race. I'll share more later. As of now I've been up for 20 hours and am about to die!

I was pretty overwhelmed by it all. I even cried a little in the car hours later while driving home (sappy, I know). There was a point on the bike where I realized if I didn't have mechanical issues I was definitely setting a PR and likely close to 6 hours, then halfway through the run I felt amazing and did the math, I knew I had a shot at really going sub-6 so after the 10 mile mark I gave it everything I had. I did the longest hardest sprint to that finish, passed a bunch of guys () and almost made it under 5:50. I am so ready for the Ironman now. Of course I'm happy to still have almost two months to get even more ready.

Incredible!  Sounds like it felt awesome, and empowering picking off some competitors during the run-- gotta love that!  I'm especially impressed that you could do math 5 hours into it... my brain is a bowl of mush by the middle of the bike on a sprint Cool

Yes, I'd say that you'll be more than ready for the ironman.  Way to go girl.
