Didn't even look at it that way!  I thought he had e-mail notification - that would be brutal with all the posts in 1 day

I would think that anyone smart enough to use BT would be smart enough to turn off the email notification after the first day or two.  You never know.  Maybe there is someone still getting email notification.

wgraves7582 - 2010-03-10 3:02 PM Alright TWISTER'ed Brothers and Sisters - I am out of here.  Heading to the Y for my swim.

Commute on tap for tomorrow and then a rainy weekend of swimming and biking just for you guys (and for myself but take it anyways )

Have a great morning/afternoon/evening and chat with you tomorrow.

No BT time tonight - Pinewood Derby night at church - fun times!

I'm jealous.  I love pinewood derby.

How much fun can a baby have with pipe insulation???  Well, let me tell you!!!  He has been carrying a piece around the house with him everywhere!  I told him that when he is old enough, he can crawl under the house and put it around the pipes where it belongs!

wgraves7582 - 2010-03-10 5:26 AM So I had the opportunity to speak to a group at our church about exercise programs and how to make them successful.

I think it went great - just waiting to hear some feedback from a friend who was in attendance.

My key points were - Make it fun
Being selfish about exercise time is acceptable
                                  Set some attainable goals

That is a great point about being selfish...I think as a spouse or parent we often feel guilty about taking away from what could be family time.  However, I know that working out helps me be a better wife and mommy...its my saving sanity time!

pdbman - 2010-03-09 12:21 PM Born in Alaska. Enjoy running in the snow. My favorite time to run is late at night with big snowflakes falling gently to the ground. Don't have a problem staying warm when its snowing. Running in the rain isn't the same for me. First I get wet, which that alone isn't a problem, but then I get cold and things aren't so fun any more. Warm and wet is fun, but still prefer running in the snow. I admit it. I'm strange and I'm a wimp.

Wow, makes me actually miss the snow...can you believe it?!
Just think, next winter you will get to have some fall in your own front yard!

I know and I can't wait!!  My daughter has never seen snow (except in books) so that will be so friggen exciting!!!

wgraves7582 - 2010-03-10 8:06 AM Paul tried waking people up but I don't think it worked!

Considering it was 3ish in the morning (depending on where you are in the Mainland) when this was posted, I think I have an excuse to be sleeping, no?!

I just thought it was funny to read an ongoing conversation in a forum.  I remember before IM days, I would email my college friends in a similar way...where we have a conversation through email...but once IM sprouted, those days are over.

Can't wait to get away from work in the morning.  Got my bike here and I'm ready to ride.  I think I'm going to bike-run tomorrow on the trails.  We got a little reprive from the rain the last couple days.

evening workout is canceled.

My father was diagnosed with Multiple Systems Atrophy 4 year years ago(an amendment to the parkinsons diagnosis he had received 2 years before that).  With this disease basically all the functions that you are born with fail. The only thing that he doesn't loose is his cognitive abilities.  He has been wheel chair bound for the last year and a half and had very limited mobility of his arms, hands and head.  He is on in home hospice and my mom has hired a couple of fellows to help with his care.

He has had a sharp decline over the last couple of weeks and tonight he has taken a turn for the worse.  He may have caught the bug that is going around...

I am sitting in his room with him watching Cash Cab.  My mom called my sister and her husband are on their way to join us (it is a 3.5 hour drive).  There is a good chance that he won't make it through the night.

Edited to add...he just turned 57 years old.
