My name's not showing on the waitlist for Vineman 70.3 yet. I am such a bundle of nerves right now! I just called and left a message with the race staff, hoping the list just isn't including yesterday's registrants yet. I'm sure you'll be OK Amy. I know most of the races around here don't update their confirmation lists any more than once per week, even right up to and after sell out. Hopefully Vineman is the same way. My fingers are crossed for you! Thanks, Tom. The website says daily, I think. Oy. Why didn't I register last week??? Why? On another note: you're gonna come hang with us at Carslbad, right, Tom? I'll be there! Still have to figure out the particulars, but I will definitely be hanging out and racing with you all. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am! |

Something you'd like playing in the background while enjoying a candlelit dinner. Pantera. Heavy Metal? Really? I was going to say something along the lines of MCHammer. Dun dun dundun dundun dundun "you can't touch this" dun dun dundun..... hammer time.....break it down...ohoh ohoh....can't touch this... Can't touch this is not the theme I was going for. This isn't for me, I'm helping a friend out. I'm just drawing blanks on what songs to give him. Cuban or flamenco guitar music. |

Not a "set the mood" kinda girl. It's more about the company and our connection for me. Concur. Totally depends on the personalities involved. Anything from laid back piano, to blues, to Soul could do the trick. For me, as long as the music's not distracting from "the moment" then it's the right kind of music. Depends...I don't think music sets the mood for me...more environment...I guess music could...I don't know if I have ever thought about it... There could be different moods too...there isn't just one type of "mood" for one person... This is what I am thinking... |
