Iran. It's not just a country anymore.  It's been so long that the batteries in the footpod and the heart strap were dead.  Againtomorrow.  I note that several folks have talked about restarting today.  Must be a herd mentality.

TW

Yeah I need to get back to some serious training as well  I have been slacking way too much.

Did you see that they changed the venue for FL 70.3 to Haines City?  Looks like a flatter bike and a completely paved run... I'm seriously considering signing up again.  That course stole about 20 minutes from me that I would liek to reclaim.

Rev3 will be in the Sarasota area at the end of October, too - and so will I!

Good to know!  Sounds like the makings of a TAN get together to me...

Well, true statement on the closer to home part, but I think you won't have the breathing problems this year.

And come on, me in spandex...

I'm excited becuase I believe part of the change was because of the quality of water in the lake.  Last year I felt like I coudln't get the smell of gasoline off of me for a week, and it killed my lungs during the swim.

mjh1975 - 2011-12-13 12:57 PM Lunch whistle has gone off.......

Yes it has!!!  The turkey pastrami on rye was pretty good for hospital cafeteria food.

You're baaaaaaaaaack!

And your back. I'm going to hold you down with my melons.

You do of course know I can just pick you up and cart you off don't you??  Then again who would want to struggle against being at the bottom of a Goddess Melon Pile?

Oh Kate. I have terrible news. The last bout of typhoid left a weeping rash across the bosoms and I'm still trying to get over the scars.

Cry

oh i'm so sorry to hear this, prayers for you...

vitamin e is good for scars...the oil. i had skin cancer, a small bout on my face, and that healed the scar from the surgery.

Ooh, good call. I always forget about that.

21 weeks.  Plenty of time to train.

Though I can understand how it might be hard to get the time off of work once you land your fabulous new job.

Works for me.  I'm still tossing it around as well.  I love the IDEA of it... but the actual training might be a bit much while I'm still in the first year of this job.

Also, I don't know anyone around here yet to ride or run with, and there aren't many safe places to ride by myself.

I might have to *gasp* make friends or *double gasp* find a training group if I'm going to do it.

Yea, but doing a marathon 2 weeks after that might not be the best idea :P Also, at that point, I don't know if I'll even have taken my bike outside... No telling how safe my road handling would be! Damn winter/spring.

Moo.

Gitalong little dogey.

You watch out or this little doggie is going to poke her nose right in your crotch, and maybe sniff your butt.

Oh boy.  MyBTbootycall is calling.

Some boys have hit this old cow trail for pleasure,
But that's where they get it most awfully wrong.
I wish I could tell you the troubles they give us,
As we go rolling these doggies along.

Whoop-ee-ti-yi-o get along little doggies,
It's your misfortune and not of my own.
Whoop-ee-ti-yi-o get along little doggies,
You know that Wyoming will be your new home.

How's Wyoming sound toya?

"tonight I'm Effing you"... Love that song! Not that I could. 3 weeks ago I worked out for over 12 hours straight. Now I get winded playing Call of Duty or lifting a pop tart to my face.

So recovery is going good then?

Hey speaking of which, do you have a race report up?  I need to go stalk you a bit... I've been slacking lately.

X2... This sounds do able... Kick some azz in Huntsville the a tour down south... A trip to Florida would mak a good birthday present die me... Come on Pete let's do the circuit... Maybe Cozumel after... Wait I'm dreaming now...

Hmmmm... I could definitely be convinced to do this. Now you have my gears working. I just need to find a job to pay for this. I am liking the sound of it for the moment, though!

Cozumel is in my plan for 2013, so maybe this can be a warm up tour for the year after...

Have you ever done a race with an ocean swim before?

I hate the ocean. But shhhhhh, don't tell anyone.

Wait... what? Really?

He's Canadian and likes cats.  I'm not going to judge. :P

Though truth be told, I prefer lake swims to ocean swims when racing.
