You know, ATL has lots of cool stuff, but you're reminding me of the one part of the South that I DON'T miss after living in MS for 7+ years.

Yes, as a norhteasterner transplanted here it does take a little getting used to, but I do love southern living.

You lived there on purpose??

I jest, I jest...

Disclaimer:  I enjoy South Carolina.  I do not want it taken off the map for real even though it would make my drives to Maryland easier.  Taking Virginia away would be even better, frankly.  I am sure northeast Georgia has many fine attractions.  I love the ATL and don't plan to move despite the fact that our current conservation efforts are literally based on a wing and a prayer and I am sure Mississpi is da bomb.  There now, I think I'm covered .

I think your hr will come down quickly once you start running again on a regular basis.  Your body will remember the fitness level.  Ease back into it.   No need to push too hard and reinjure.

I agree with Tammy... plus I find that sometimes it takes awhile for my HR to stabilize once I start out on a run.  OK, well, back when I used to run, at least .

Oooohh Mila, if you're calling Sal a slave driver, that must mean you ran and swam today!!!!!

I taught a class, swam, rode my pretty bike and I am running later.  I like the long T2  though.  It's working well for me.

Edited because I am so tired I was redundant...

Politics on the thread? Like sparco said is this allowed? Is it better to focus on pictures of sexy and hot tri girls as Spokes has pointed out?

Chocolate bacteria? So it's not my fault that I crave so much chocolate.

Spokes: Cute kids, but I don't see the resemblence, they look so much better then you.

Yes, tell us a story about a wolf and no, unlike beth I will not behave, it's not my way.

You're kidding. That's when it would be useful to know someone with the bureaucratic equivalent of a baseball bat to cut through the BS.

nope, not kidding

hopefully we can get it straightened out - ARGH!

Counting ceiling tiles might keep you busy for a few... coming up with random back stories for people s another one, taking 'notes' (ie doodling etc)...

kns57 - 2007-11-15 3:41 AM I'm working on a Twisnibbins story for all of you. Here I am a couple of years ago getting ready for storytime. When I tell you the story, y'all need to sit quietly at my feet like good little twisnibbins.

Aaaw do I get to cuddle the monkey?

Seriously that is a super great pic!!! You look so genuinely smiley!

Uh...taking your laptop into a meeting pretending you're taking notes when you're actually catching up on inspires and threads in BT (using a very small window)...

I've never done this...

This explains why I can't keep my hands out of the kids halloween stash, LOL!

Bacteria Cause Chocolate Cravings

Oct. 12, 2007 — If that craving for chocolate sometimes feels like it is coming from deep in your gut, that's because maybe it is.

A small study links the type of bacteria living in people's digestive system to a desire for chocolate. Everyone has a vast community of microbes in their guts. But people who crave daily chocolate show signs of having different colonies of bacteria than people who are immune to chocolate's allure.

That may be the case for other foods, too. The idea could eventually lead to treating some types of obesity by changing the composition of the trillions of bacteria occupying the intestines and stomach, said Sunil Kochhar, co-author of the study. It appears Friday in the peer-reviewed Journal of Proteome Research.

OMG - my cravings are justified!!!!

Unfortunately, I have to pay attention Cat, as knowing enough about Air Quality conformity is required since I'm the MPO liaison for a 37,000 square mile AQ non-attainment area known as the San Joaquin Valley. Tongue out

But done yout know it already? Im sure youve been doing your job for awhile now

Take notes then... trying to write everything down will keep your hands and mind busy even if you already know it
