LOL I know you guys will find this somewhat hard to believe, but............... it really did take me a while to get comfortable with the chatter - I belonged to the site for over 6 months before I even posted anything I didn't even really lurk during the first 6 months - I really didn't know quite what to make of it all - then, I joined the swim challenge and well - the rest is history- (although, I don't think I was particularly chatty during that challenge - a little more so in October and well November - forget it - lost cause - LOL) Umm well I was here around 2 years before i ran my first challenge... it took that to get me more involved with people here... |

It may force some of the wallflowers out to play with the chattier members of the group (or it could push them fruther in to the wall if they'e really challenged but then who would be on a site like this and sit quietly like a kid at grammas house of antiques?) Guess it just depends on the individuals... for example I have a fabulous team this month BUT half of the team have not been seen since the beginning and they have never chatted... its sad as I think one of the best things about the challenges is the supportive environment... And one of the ones who has gone AWOL is acutally on my friends list.... I think there are some people who enjoy watching the chatter, but aren't necessarily comfortable joining in - Oh I know thats true... but in some cases I know its NOT hehe the old apples talk about serious training all the time... thats why I heart my team! |

It all made sense then, but I had a better picture last time. Kristen |
