I'm back online... no problems booting up the OLD computer now.

Got fitted for my bike yesterday... went for a test ride around the shop.... immediately thought of Pam's suggestion - "one arm at a time." I tried to get into aero and felt like a drunk on a bike for the first time!!! Then.... went to make left turn at red light... unclipped (no problem) put foot down (PROBLEM!!!) not used to the cleats my foot slipped on the pavement (luckily I didn't fall... luckily)

Well, now I've got it all set up (stole H2O cage, saddle bag, and pump rack off mtn bike and put on bike) Now I need one more thing...
for it to STOP SNOWING!!!! (or a tleast just in th evalley here, still want to go skiing a few more days this year)

Was funny to see the boyscheckin gout my bike last night. DS#1 kept asking me why it doesn't have pedals on it. He doesn't get the clip in idea yet.

How long has it been since you've been home?

Well, I went home a year ago January for a funeral... but I'm not sure eating boudin at a funeral home for breakfast classify's as enjoying food. Of course I DID enjoy my Popeye's fried chicken. The nearest Popeye's is in Wyoming... and yes, I do plan my Denver trips around stopping there.

Sleep is amazing. I've been pretty run down since the race. Finally starting to feel like myself again.

That and retail therapy helps. I bought a transition bag this morning. So excited!

Heather, I totally understand about planning trips around food. I plan my trips to Wisconsin around what restaurants I want to eat at. Or, when I go to DC, I try to make sure I eat at a restaurant they have at home but not here.

My mom keeps having dreams that I'm pregnant with twins. I find this disturbing. I know I'm not pregnant, but that does not bode well for me having twins in the future since her dreams often come true.

pretty well - super busy on my new job, especially with the commuting part - but I don't have to werk anywhere near the hours that Dee has been - poor thing

Maybe. But my husband also thinks it would be cool to have twins.

I think it would have it's pros and cons like anything else

my first two kids were 15 months apart, so it was about as close as you can get to having twins without actually having twins - lol
