Good afternoon Ghoulies!

It has been a busy day. I did not get my run in this morning. It was pouring, which is good for everything outside growing, not good for me. I did get an hour in on the trainer though.

I just finished setting up my old road bike for my son. He is not a runner, he will never be a swimmer, but he does like to ride bikes. If he wants to ride, then so do I. They have to do a senior project before graduation at his school. I know he's only going into 5th grade, but I keep mentioning to him that we could bike from here to Florida then take a few days vacation and fly home as a senior project. He could document his training and the trip. I would never let him do it alone, so I would have to go along for supervision. Don't you all think that's a good idea?

Gotta run. More to do, then we are going to a dinner/auction for the church tonight. I baked a cake and brownies with walnuts in to auction off. I have a feeling we'll end up buying at least one of them back.

Nice ride Neal! Hope today's race goes well too.

My ride didn't go as planned. Crampy awesomeness just over half way through my ride. Came on quite suddenly and felt a bit like an esophageal spasm...(this is me differentially diagnosing myself from where the crampy pain was and radiated to) was a bit painful to breathe deeply. So I stopped...it didn't go away and I decided to cut my ride short. I've been lying on the floor and it has subsided a bit...so not really sure what triggered it. Ah. Well I'm going to go back an lie on the ground for a bit. Feeling crummy crummy crummy.

If I feel better I'll go out and finish off the last 20-25km after dinner.
