Excuses have a 0 meter maximum effective range. Your mission: sleep nekkid tonight is ANN encouraging the Ghoulies to get nekkid AGAIN??? geesh some thing never change. no worries Melindy. i sleep with scarves and neck gaiters. its just as cold in PGH. Is using blankets only a central PA thing. Stacie Your mission tonight: sleep nekkid, you know you want to nekkid with nothing but a neck gaiter on. now THERES a mental picture. LOL. i never said i was opposed to sleeping nekkid, just that warmth trumps nekkidness in my book. stacie Again BLANKETS! When I spend the night at my friends house I am always toasty, they have these super warm blankets they got in Germany that I love. They aren't big on heat or air conditioning in Germany, so the blankets take care of the lack of heat. I think doing a lot of things in not too many clothes takes care of the lack of air conditioning. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulie Azzatar challenge- do it or else!! Here's a few more to pick from, I have more if you want them. "For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again. " "There are two times to train, when you want to and when you don't" The more I push my limitations, the more I realize I don't have as many of them as I thought. "When someone tells you that you can't go any farther, just tell them to look behind you and see how far you've come." -- Lorna Pitre |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulie Azzatar challenge- do it or else!! "Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did." "There is nothing more certain than the defeat of a man who gives up. And, I might add, the victory of one who will not." - George Sheehan. "You never work out and regret it. You never go for a run and when you are done say, 'I wish I would have just stayed home.' You never climb a mountain, get to the top, and say 'I should have just been content to stay where I was.'" I used to run away from me now I run for me. The ultimate is not to win, but to reach within the depths of your capabilities and to compete against yourself to the greatest extent possible. When you do that, you have dignity. You have the pride. You can walk about with character and pride no matter in what place you happen to finish. The real purpose of running isn't to win a race; it's to test the limits of the human heart. A teacher is never too smart to learn from his pupils. But while runners differ, basic principles never change. So it's a matter of fitting your current practices to fit the event and the individual. See, what's good for you might not be worth a darn for the next guy. Your biggest challenge isn’t someone else. It’s the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs, and the voice inside you that yells, "CAN’T", but you don’t listen. You just push harder. And then you hear the voice whisper "can" and you discover that the person you Some people listen to themselves rather than listen to what others say. These people don't come along very often, but when they do, they remind us that once you set off on a path, even though critics may doubt you, it's ok to believe that there is no CAN'T, WON'T or IMPOSSIBLE. They remind us that it's ok to believe that IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING. "A run begins the moment you forget you are running." At mile 20, I thought I was dead At mile 22, I wished I was dead At mile 24, I knew I was dead At mile 26.2, I knew I was too tough to kill |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulie Azzatar challenge- do it or else!! There comes a time when you'd rather injure your body than injure your pride. How hard would you play today if you couldn't play tomorrow? They said you couldn't. They lied out of fear. Training is a big question mark that's there each and every day. It asks you "Are you going to be a wimp or are you going to be strong today?" I can't tell you it will be easy, but I can tell you it will be worth it. Only those who risk going to far can possibly find out how far they can go. Your body can do whatever you push it to do, the mind is what stops the progress. The difference between a jogger and a runner is an entry blank. People do not lack strength; they lack will. There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy. You've got to get up each morning with determination if you're going to go to bed with satisfaction. Never let your head hang down. Never give up and sit down and grieve. Find another way. Don't let what you cannot do interfere with what you can. Do you want to know what the best part of the game is? The opportunity to play. Don't look back. Something might be gaining on you. The most powerful weapon on earth is the human spirit on fire. Do not throw in the towel; use it for wiping the sweat of of your face. It's never crowded along the extra mile. Most people spend their entire lives on a fantasy island called "someday I'll." What are you resisting today? Training is the opposite of hoping. Here is a test to find out if your mission on earth is finished: If you are alive it isn't. It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not. Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new. The road to success is lined with many tempting parking spaces. But if you never try you'll never know. Remember, the feeling you get from a good run is far better than the feeling you get from sitting around wishing you were running. |
