I kind of knew that would be the case, since I'm a slow runner. There were about 90 people there for this event. The store was mobbed. Lots of kids running around. I ran into someone whom I haven't seen in ages. Her oldest son is my son's age and they had played soccer together for years at the YMCA. Both boys are turning 27 this year. Her second oldest son also played soccer with them and he was there last night, along with a passel of younger siblings. I can't remember if she stopped at 10 kids or what. Yes, you read that right. I believe two are adopted and the rest are all natural. She says that is all she ever wanted to be in life was a mom. Wow. Anyway, hubby did find two eggs. One had candy in it, the other had and IOU. LOL. You got nothing for and IOU. Coach Trey was having a lot of fun planning this whole event. He is moving the Seattle though at the beginning of next month. He will be missed. He introduced us all to Haley who will be taking over. I hope she knows what she has gotten into. i kept meaning to say what a GREAT idea! id run 26 if i knew i'd get 26 miles of CANDY. yum. AND those speedies certainly were greedy.....they shouldv'e left some eggs for the rest of us. stacieb I was actually okay about not getting any eggs. But I would imagine that if you were one of the younger crowd, you'd be a bit upset about not getting any. It was funny to see all these serious older runners with bags of eggs. |

AFTERNOON GHOULIES. today did NOT go as planned. not that it was bad per se. just NOT as planned. i ended up realizing at midnight last night the encounter form i need signed at the end of my session i didnt get signed at my last client. WHOOPS. not a huge deal but i did have to take a drive out today to get a signature. plfffft.
and then MORE administrative issues that i did NOT want to have to deal with but it couldnt wait. Thursday is my day to do NOTHING or at least not work stuff.....ah well. the upside is that i should be getting two more cases in the next week to two. which will bring me up to 26 hours between the two agencies. woo! stacieb |
