Today was moving along smoothly, until I lost my network connection and I couldn't do anything. It looks like it is back now, so I'm hoping the next 3 hours move along pretty quickly.

Good morning Ghoulies!

I have a sick kiddo at home, AGAIN! This is not the best summer so far for my daughter. My husband is taking her to the doctors today. She is running a fever again, vomiting, has a sore throat, an upset tummy. She has been sick for a week now. Time to get it checked out.

When she is sick she gets very clingy. I got no workout in last night because she just wanted her mommy. I did work up a sweat with her running a fever, wrapping herself in a blanket,  and sitting on my lap though.

How goes things in the library since school is out?

I just talked to my husband, he called after my daughter's doctor appointment.

The quick strep test came back negative, but they are doing the full cultivation test. They are also testing her for mono. If the mono test is negative and she still has a fever this weekend they want to do full bloodwork on Monday.

Dang!! I hope they figure out why she is so sick and it gets cleared up quickly! That is no way to spend a summer vacation!

YEA For hubbie mending! and YEA for being able to go on vacation!

No problem teens, just the usual summer reading craziness which I much prefer.  We had 198 at our puppet show the other week.  Awesome numbers.

Yup, we are going to a time share in Biloxi, MS and will hop over to New Orleans.  I've never been in that part of the country.  Then on Friday will drive up to Knoxvill to spend Saturday at Wing Ding which is the national rally for Gold Wing Riders.  Then Sat night drive to Marshall, NC to spend the night with my sister, Sunday we will have lunch with my father and his new "girlfriend" and then head back home to GA.  Let's see, we will have been in 6 states in 8 days.  Lots of driving.

Just wait till the magician comes next month.  Then we will have about 300+ here for that.  It will be crazy.

Our annual boat tie up for the Solstice was canceled because of rain and hail. Jim's Dad is made another trip to the hospital. He has pneumonia again.

So, we are celebrating the Solstice at the Mexican restaurant at the end of the road.

Dangit. I was down with the whole solstice thing until you mentioned short night tonight. Guess I better get my behind into bed.
