I really wish I had that as an option.  If I don't open the building, people don't get to start working.

one of the hugest plusses of this job, and my boss, he doesn't give a crap.  is my work getting done?  am i putting in the hours?  and people aren't coming to him complaining about me - he's a happy guy.

i would absolutely FAIL if i had to punch a time card.

This is really a much better situation than your previous jobs. It ain't perfect but it's a lot better.

oh, i haven't had to punch a time card since before i got my degree...that is one of the things i ask about in interviews, flexibility with working hours.  but yes, this is a huge improvement over my last job, and more opportunities in the company as well.

yeesh that's always fun.  i remember when i had an internship way back when, somebody got fired so they decided to "anonymously" report a slew of imaginary offenses to OSHA.  the plant manager decided preparing our response to the complaint was a great job for me.......whoo boy

Hi Cheri!  I hope the FDA gets out of your hair with a minimum amount of fuss!

I am trying to treat paradise terrifically, despite it having brought yet another contagion to my doorstep ... been laid up the last four days with a chest cough and mild fever. Getting less mild tonight but it's also not constant. Slowly drying up but kinda just feels like the congestion went from my chest into my head.

Taking a step back from all this hard training can only help, right? RIGHT??? Boy could I bury my schtuffy schnoot in your warm healing hypnomelons right about now. I bet that'd loosen things up. Well, at least it would loosen me up!

Spirits are okay, although you reminded me that I should probably write about my resentments, because I'm pretty damn pizzed about the situation, mostly at myself. Not good energy and not necessary.

Well I hope paradise knows how lucky it is!!

I hope you get well quickly and I will hold you in my melons till you do.  Yes taking a step back and letting your body take care of the infection will help you heal much better and faster!!  You run yourself down and then get sick all the time... Stop Doing That!!!  Be kind to yourself or I will have to tie you down and make you take a rest!!! 

Writing things down always helps.  So does breaking things like plates and stuff.  Go out and buy some cheap crockery and smash it to bits!!!  Or is that just me???    I think about you and send you good vibes every day.  I will redouble my efforts in the hopes that it will speed the healing.

I'm the schemer and the stewer--my sister is the thrower. She was actually the Southeast Asian regional champ in discus. She was HUGE and she'd get drunk and throw glass ashtrays at bad boys and stuff. Oh and one time she slammed a boy who'd (very meanly) jilted me up against the lockers, feet off the ground. That was pretty funny. He actually did make WHAT SEEMED (snerk) to be a sincere apology after that, but we are all friends now (still!) and laugh about it.

Yep that's me too only not that good and I did shot put not discus but I was always the body guard and/or the smart friend.  Just once I would like to be the cute friend, just to see how it feels.

Yes, the joys of manufacturing!!!  Terminate for horrible attendance, yet the policy should apply to them because:

I have an appointment in a couple of hours to have my x-ray results looked at and my back analyzed to tell me just how bad it is and if there's anything that can be done to help.  Fingers crossed! 

Fun new problem though... I can't lie on my left side without my left hip/leg going into those deep tingles you get when you've slept on your arm funny and when you wake up it feels all dead in the morning and then you start to get the feeling back and it's all pins and needles... yep, it's like that.  Fun! 

^^ Ok what is with you guys.  I get busy for a little while and you all fall apart???  Cut that out!!
