Good Morning Your Royal Hotness, Yanti Doll, Treadmill Cruser, Taxi's Bane, And Goddess of Everlasting Gobstoppers!

It *is* good morning! I'm transitioning to NZ schedule and it's very weird. Then again, so is my schedule / sleep pattern always, but I'd kind of gotten into a groove there with IM training.

The Renaissance Fair Starts this weekend!!  Time to break out the corsets and skirts!  I am going to buy a claymore this year, I swear!

Pics or it did not happen.  But wear a Kilt instead.

I need to replace my kilt. The old one is too big since I started all this exercise stuff.

WTH, i refreshed my computer and was still two pages behind.

A corset and a kilt huh??? You gonna lace it up for me?

As you wish

Is that a Princess Bride reference?  Nicely done...

Should I be concerned that I am starting to like lima beans?

Yes you should be concerned.  Very concerned!

Well, as long as you don't think they're the same as edamame... I just found that out a few weeks ago.  I dig me some lima beans and some edamame for the record.

Mmmmm no I love edamame!  Have it at least once or twice a week with dinner.

Working on a CV.

What does the wisdom of TAN say about doing a Summary of Experience then itemizing my experience?

Should the experience be grouped by KSA or employment history?

In terms of experience I usually itemize things based on related instrumentation not work hisotry.

Employment history and if it's for a corporation, you should put a dollar value to every thing on your resume.  That's all that matters in the corporate world.

If you're an academic or government, you can put whatever metrics you want.

Specific position in an academic setting but on the admin side. My history is with one company but lots of various duty titles and levels of responsibility.

There is so much conflicting advice out there today on CVs and resumes. Most of it claiming that one way or another is the only right way. My take is this - make sure you are concise, well organized, focused on what matters for the job, and perfect with spelling and grammar and you should be good.

I look at it like this. If someone can't get a one or two page document together that's error free in order to project the best possible image as part of a job application process then what are they likely to turn out day in and day out on the job.

my style of writing does not match any "normal" writing, plus in here I type a lot faster.    I think I will go with a summary to highlight the KSAs of the posting then expand a bit in the CV. Now I just need a translator for my jargon.  This position is a long shot but... If I don't try I already know I won't get considered.
