I'm about to go on a starvation diet to get rid of this fat, if that's what it takes to get my run times down. I'm really serious about that. If you don't eat, you won't be able to run at all. Trust me, starving yourself is miserable. |

Trust me, starving yourself is miserable. It is the only thing that has ever worked for me in losing weight. Cut back to 2 meals a day - NO dinner. Do you still have energy in the morning? That just seems like a bad plan to me, but I'm always starving in the morning. |

That just seems like a bad plan to me, but I'm always starving in the morning. My problem is that I go too long without eating during the day. Then, come 11 PM, I'm starving.... And I end up eating junk food. |

That just seems like a bad plan to me, but I'm always starving in the morning. I'm fine in the morning. I don't like to eat breakfast anyway... I am always in such a hurry and I don't buy the crap that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If you want to lose weight, you simply have to cut calories, period. There is no other way. Getting rid of processing foods helps - I'd do better if I didn't hate most vegetables and fruits so much, so I just go through a week or two of being hungry, and then I get used to eating less. If it doesn't taste good, I'm not going to eat it no matter how 'good it is for me.' And most so-called 'healthy' food tastes bad. So its easier to just get used to being hungry and coping with the crabbiness that comes with it. easy for you to say think about the rest of us that will have to put up with your crabbiness - LOL |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIII I've definitely cut back on the amount I'm eating, but I still make sure to eat enough meals. If I go to long without eating, I tend to be really hungry and then I eat lots of crap. Plus I get crabby when I don't eat and no one really wants to have to deal with that. I guess whatever works for you, but it just seems like cutting out full meals is not the best path to take. |
