Yay! Someone is working out! (Obviously I'm not -- I'm here on BT, padding my post count.) I thought about bringing a bosu ball into my office so I could do both.... but didn't... Typing while doing wood chops on the bosu might prove to be difficult.... OUtta here Later.... |

I still need to discuss with her the babysitting vs. BT'ing issue; however, since I am on BT instead of watching my children on a regular basis I guess I would be the pot, eh?

Uh. Is there such a thing as hijacking this thread? (I mean - anymore than it already is.) BTW, all the other team theads are equally hijacked. All of the conversation is centering around this serious business called "post padding." Not that I have any idea what this "post padding" stuff is about.... |

recent personal sharpie story.... walking son to 1st day of kinder....noticed/realized I had not put his name on his backpack....STOP!!!!.... yes, I dug the sharpie out of my purse and wrote his name on the handle... My favorite is a purple micro... Ooohhhh... yeah, I'm with ya on that! Your personal sharpie story is a lot better than mine. See, mine involves me not being able to resist purchasing new sharpies when I did back to school shopping... you know, cause the eleventy billion I have might not make the cut to write names on things... so I spread ALLLLLL the school supplies out on the dining room table and sort of left them there for a day or two while I was making sure I had the appropriate number of hand sanitizers and boxes of kleenex. Fast forward. Next day, I come in from slogging all nasty yucky and head straight for the shower while Exhibit C is busy with his trains. I'm literally in and out of the shower in 5 minutes. Come downstairs and he is in the bathroom with the door closed yelling "DON'T TALK TO ME!". OK, ummmm, first clue that he's done something he maybe shouldn't have right there. I march in and yes, he is, in fact, covered with various colors of, you guessed it, Sharpie. Arms, legs, hands, feet, even lifted up his shirt and got a little on his belly. Soooo... after telling him not to touch anything and giving him a good scrubbing, I go to investigate the damage. Thankfully, only one small spot on the dining room table cloth. Not so thankfully, it wasn't a color that blended well with the pattern. You would think I'd know better. |

I shouldn't be hungry... perhaps if I go lift it will curb the hunger.... Yup! if you are still hungry when you are done then you can have a piece of fruit or a muesli bar or something... to hold you over til dinner time yeah... though I grabbed a nectarine that's been in my fridge for a while... it looked good, it felt good, but tasted like crap!!!!!!!!!! 'cause I'm still wearing clothes from 4 seasons ago too) Though i don't think my fat, swelly feet could fit into those for more than an hour You don't need them on for more than that . Of course you can wear last season's clothes... you justify it by saying you buy "classic" clothing that never goes out of style! I've had myself a crazy week so far. I'm hoping the worst is over and I can begin the easy slide into a nice relaxing weekend. As a matter of fact, I'm sitting at work right now trying to figure out how to do as little as possible for the next two nights. The key is to always be seen with important looking paperwork. And maybe a clipboard. People with clipboards always look like they mean business. So walk around with something electronic that lets you access BT. Post pad like crazy. People will think you're REALLY busy. Of course, you WILL be busy. You'll just be busy post padding, rather than doing anything particularly constructive. Although, personally, I believe that post padding on BT *is* a highly constructive activity. But that's probably just me. Me too! I write a lot for my job... so I just look SUPER busy with all the fast typing I do on here... I must be working sooooo hard |

Heh... my dogs are much easier. My cat, on the other hand, well let's just say tonight he tried to fit into one of those boxes sodas come in... you know, the 12 pack that's meant to fit nicely in your fridge? He is a rather large feline. So the box was on the counter (where, I might add, he's not allowed) and he starts trying to squeeze into it. It becomes clear that, as usual, he is about to show how completely ungraceful he is for a cat because he's pushing the box towards the edge of the counter. So what do I do? I get my camera instead of rescuing him...
