But I changed the stem on my old Bianchi all by my little self. And it took some doing. On an old bike like this you have to take off all the bar tape, remove the brake, slide off the old stem.......then slip on the new stem and put Humpty Dumpty back together again. But I managed! Hope this makes it way more comfy to ride. I could not reach the brakes very well before........not sure if my arms shrank or what!! |

Putting away groceries. Entertaining our guest for the day... on of Sweetum's GF's. She stayed over last night to give herself a break from her home life. So, while Sweetum's worked her evening shift, I took our friend shopping... out for a lovely dinner... a visit to Sweetum's work... then home to wait for Sweetum's. Lovely night with good friend. You shop?? You PUT away groceries??? What are you some kind of fantasy dude????? |

The trail was beautiful - 29 miles one way thru some beautiful terrain. Didnt see another soul for the first 25 miles - stopped briefly to refuel and headed back. Saw a lot of turkeys long the way, 2 BIG otters a couple llamas and an unidentified creature that crossed the trail a few hundred yards ahead of me - couldnt tell what it was. I took a few pics but need to figure out how to upload them - will upload them later. Sounds like a beautiful day to be in Florida. Nice ride  |
