Bad form to sleep in though when it's your morning to drive. Anyway, the back of my knee is really sore today. I've been reading about Active Release Therapy and thinking that I may try that. I even found a PT near my house that takes my insurance. Hmmmm. Can't hurt I suppose (lol, actually I hear it hurts alot). Any of you tried ART? Queen has I believe. Let me know what you find out! I've had it. It does hurt alot. Depending on the location where they are doing ART pain scale can be 9/10...haha. For my my ankles, just above my knee on my IT band and glutes are the worst. They made me cry on the glute one. But that being said, ART makes you feel fantastic after the fact. It helped me alot with pain management with my tendonitis in the past and helped to stretch me out or I would have some hard build ups of scar tissue on my IT band and around my ankles. I've been thinking of going back lately to have some sessions, but I find that rolling on my handy dandy foam roller works because of the location of my specific problem areas. I'd say give it a shot! Sold. I'm going to try and find a PT and see if it helps. I can handle short periods of pain. Lots of pain. It's when it messes up my training that I get very grumpy and wimpy. |

School is nuts...Study study study study study study........study... Power out this monring for a power audit in the area and they shut it off 30min before they were supposed to...so I just left the house and came to school cause my battery was dead and I needed to get my notes off the comp. Had a good sleep last night...swimming was brutal...we did a set called "Dead and Bury"...ugh...good thing this is a recovery week in bike/run... Yaa....Have a good day everyone...back to study study study study study... Melindy you are my inspiration! X2. When you do that set in Med School is it called Pathology? |

(the other was the orange one i took a picture of) this was about 3 hours into the evening so my hair is a little on the less than funky side. but you get the gist. no. im not drunk. yes. the people im sitting with are!  they're my neice in laws mom and step dad. Very nice Stacie, and I love those glasses! Very fitting for you.
