adameldridge - 2008-12-15 4:29 PM I have a pair of Asics Nimbus 9 size 12 with 150 miles on them.  They are too narrow for my wide feet.

I got these, put one run in in them (5 miles), and came home with blisters.  My last pair of Nimbuses did that to me as well, but I was hoping these would be different.  No luck.  So if you've had Nimbus success in the past, these are again up for grabs.

Subject: RE: Pay it forward

I have a couple of items to "pay forward":

1.  One pair of size medium, black, Titan Wear bike shorts, from www.titanwear.com.  They are probably 7 or 8 years old, only worn a couple of times.  Didn't care for the pad in them.

2.  Size medium DeSoto white sleeveless bike jersey.  Bought this on clearance online a few years ago, couldn't return it.  It's too big.  I usually wear medium jerseys so I would say this fits more like a large.

3.  Timex 50 Lap heart rate monitor.  Got this for Christmas 2001, used it quite a bit, then got away from heart rate training.  I have a Garmin Forerunner 305 now, so it is unlikely I'll ever use this again.  Watch needs a battery and the strap might too.  It worked the last time I used it, so there is no reason to believe it doesn't work now.

4.  3 pairs of lace locks (just the locks, no elastic laces or anything).  I used to buy stuff online from Trizone.com and they threw these in with every order.  I use ibungee laces, but had kept these around in case the locks on those ever broke.  They never have.

I could definitely use the bike shorts. I'm just getting started riding and I'm amazed by how expensive it is to get all set up.

Could use the heart rate monitor.  My 1998 Polar just went kaput.

Any chance of getting 1 pair of lace locks?

I should be posting a few items soon.  Doing a bike build this winter.  Should have a bottom bracket and some stems available.  I'll post when they're available.

I will take the jersey. Both of my brothers are starting training this year and my jerseys are way too big for them.

And the left over two lace locks. I use yankz but my brothers can use them.

Just let me know how much shipping is.

These are all from a buddy of mine in our bike club. He said he doesn't wear them anymore, and he was thinking they might fit me. They don't quite fit me, but maybe they'll fit you. Since they're not mine, I'm asking that you cover shipping and handling. Also, I'm asking that we keep the shipping to the lower continental 48 states.

Lake SPD-Ready Shoes

 Lake Shoes

These are Lake Cycling shoes, size 43.0.  They've got a liner inside and are SPD ready.  (No clips are included, but you can get some basic Forte SPD clips pretty cheap.)  The shoes are basically in new condition.  Heck... the soles feel and look like they haven't even been walked on.

Jersey

Biemme Jersey

This is a blue Biemme jersey, size L.  The tag says [4], L-50, made in Italy.  It's got a 1/4 zip and three rear pockets.  I couldn't find any holes or anything, except for the ones for your waist, arms and head.  Sorry... but the cat is not included.

Shorts

Cycling Shorts

These are cycling shorts.  There is no logo, and the label inside is completely washed out.  I can't get any info off of it.  I'm guessing they're size L, but no guarantees on that.  There is a pocket inside (right over the back left cheek).  The pad is pretty minimal, but they're a decent pair of lightweight shorts.

Socks #1

Socks #1

These are socks.  They're white.  They say "gaerne" on the side.  No sizing available, but probably L.

Socks #2

Socks #2

These are also socks.  They're also white.  They say iP on the side, which stands for Pearl Izumi.  (You'd think it would be Izumi Pearl, but it's not.)  Again, no sizing available, but they're probably L.

Again, this isn't my gear, so I'm asking that you cover shipping and handling in the lower 48 continental states.

Thanks for your interest.  I'll answer PMs tomorrow.

Oh man...I so need to go through my old piles of gear and see what I can add to this thread. I have so much stuff it isn't funny. Keep an eye out for one of my posts in the future..might be something good in it.
As an aside..is it a bad thing to ask if the receiver pay for shipping? I have no problems giving stuff away to those who want it but can't afford to be shipping stuff off to all parts of the globe for free.

I, for one think it's perfectly reasonable...I'm new to the sport and can't afford to buy all new anything, so when someone has my size jersey, shorts, etc...I'm more than willing to cover shipping.  I mean, you're doing us the favor.

So what size do you wear? Have a few pair of cycling shorts (Louis Garneau) in large I can part with..went to bibshorts a while back and have almost never work them.

I wear M or L bike shorts (32 waist 152 lbs), and L shirts.  If you come across anything you don't use that'd be great.  Thanks.  Smile

Only 4  Minutes.  If I wasn't in Cairo right now on a dial up network I would have snatched (don't go there) up any saddle from AbbieR in a heartbeat.

And we thank you for them.  I just don't see myself putting a pink and white seat on my speed rocket.  But thanks for the long distance dreams.

I've got a "one size fits most" over-the-spare-tire single bike carrier that I'd like to give to someone who isn't going to turn around and sell it. I bought it off someone here on BT my first season and it did what I needed it to, but now I've upgraded to a hitch rack and would like to see this one go to good use. You will also get the lock and keys for the lock that's been added.

I would prefer it to be a local delivery or pickup as shipping runs about $25 usps parcel post.
zip code for reference point 46051

(pics to be added in a moment)

just the bike rack (not the jeep or bike or anything else other than the bike rack)

Brand new Felt Carbon Roadie Seat....

This came off my '06 Felt Roadie...I'll never use it so I'll give it to someone that will....I'll ship it for free, unless it costs too much, which I doubt, to 48 states....

It's very light.....

PM me with address and I'll get it out shortly....
